I've recently created a website for community. No charge, no registration, no hassle, no s**t.

It is called Compact Mall. Basically, it is an online directory for malls in Malaysia. Off course, not all malls are listed here but I've managed to compile up to 77 malls (as of 04/09/12) including Sabah & Sarawak. You can search for stores, malls, and you will be able to view them by category. The website is compatible for mobile phone especially iPhone. (Android users, please don't flame me.. T_T)

Requirements :

> Download the necessary files to put Chromium OS onto your USB drive. Torrent link below.

Instructions :
1 Extract the contents of chromium_os_usb.zip somewhere
2 Launch Win32DiskImager.exe (Windows). If you get Error 8 when you launch, ignore it. It's looking for a floppy that isn't there. The project page for this nifty little program is here: https://launchpad.net/win32-image-writer
3 Browse to the image file (should be in the same place as Win32DiskImager.exe) and select it.
4 Write the image to a USB drive. You will need a 4GB USB drive. Please be aware that when you write to the drive, IT WILL ERASE ALL CONTENTS.
5 Boot a machine with the USB drive. Your BIOS will need to allow booting from USB. F8 or F12 in many BIOSes will bring up a boot menu, where you can select the USB drive.
6 When the login screen comes up, login with "chronos" and "password" (no quotes).
7 Click the Chrome OS sphere in the upper left, and log in with your Google Account.
8 Enjoy the preview of Chromium OS!

It seems that there are a few banks out there offering loans for ASB. The most significant one is from Maybank. There's also from CIMB. Not sure with other banks though.

Which do you think offers the best for the ASB loans. (rates, t&c, islamic or not, etc..)

Lost Windows CD

Hi LYNers,

FYI, previously, I've bought a few laptops (me and my family). And as usual, as time goes by, we forgot where we put the installation CDs. So, right now, I'm trying to reformat my laptop, with the hope of not installing a pirated one, since I have a legal and valid XP product key.

So, my question is, what can I do to solve this problem?

1. Copy the CD from a friend?
2. Buy from straw hat luffy?
3. Ask Microsoft to give me free copy without product key?
4. Any other suggestions

If you have done this before, please advise.

btw.. my license is for OEM.
