Shopee sellers sending unsealed new phones

Hello,

i'm kinda new to buying phones on shopee, and some sellers sell new phones but pretend they have to unseal it for warranty and other fake reasons,
what does it mean ? Are these phones previously returned ? Or perhaps do they somehow install bloatware or tamper with the phone in someway ?

One seller suggests they need to record their packaging to avoid people scamming them ? (i received wrong phone kind of scam perhaps ?)

I'm about to buy a Xiaomi note 13 for the 3x lossless zoom and 120 hz refresh rate for 500 rm, do you guys think its a good choice for budget ?

Car paint touch up question

i just wondered, every shop i go to seem to really insist on repainting whole panels, even for scratches that look pretty minor,
is it because a car touch up still takes 1 parking slot in the paint workshop for the same duration as a panel paint, but for less money so it's not profitable enough for the workshop ?

If somebody goes bankrupt with a limited liability partnership because they used their funds to pay rent without managing to get new clients,

Aren't they fully liable for debt, especially corporate tax toward LHDN, since paying personal rent could be a form of fund mismanagement ?

What can or should they do ? Negotiate a schedule with LHDN ? What kind of surcharges/fines will apply on top of what is owed ? How long a schedule can they offer ?

Aircond choice for a special case

Hi,

I have to choose an aircond for a living room, and my budget is kinda tight,
It's a < 1000 sqft living hall in a kampung house that gets really hot during the day because of a hot roof,

I'm gonna use the aircond only a few weeks per year, the aircond is gonna run for long hours, and i don't need instant cooling, if we achieve a 25-27 degrees room after 30 min i'm happy with that.

Could i go for a non-inverter (since it will run 100% all the time) ?
What minimum Hp should i get since i don't need the room to be cold but only cooler ? Would 1.5 hp be enough in that case ? 2.0 hp seems to cost almost double of 1.5 hp.
Is branded necessary as well, or would Haier / Midea be fine since i'll barely use it ?

i'm looking for custom sized mattresses and bedframes (around 210-220cm-ish),
and i've only found Harvey Norman for custom sized bedframes & mattresses (for an additional 20%+ over the selling price)

Problem is i believe Harvey Norman inflate most of their prices ?

Is there a 'normal' priced alternative somewhere ?

Cancelling insurance policy

i've noticed that all agents are really scared of policy cancellations,

can somebody tell me please what exactly happens to an agent if i cancel a policy within 1 year, or after 1 year of policy ? Is it really that bad ? Or do they just forfeit a bit of commission and lose 1 sub ?

and now comes the interchange with a used car dealer's motorcycle,

i wondered what are the ways to get money out of an LLP/sdn bhd used for freelance business ?

1. Things bought put as expenses, such as hotel nights & travel plane tickets ? -> 0% tax paid.
2. Dividends -> 17% corporate tax (no income tax) ?
3. Salaries -> 13% EPF + 9% EPF + income tax on the rest ? Is it even possible to hire one of the partners in an LLP ?

Is there any company that streamlined the handling of Sdn Bhds ? One that provides company secretary + accountant + (tax agent) + auditor ?

I'm trying to get a cheap way of maintaining an sdn bhd for freelancing, it'd require like 5 minutes of each professional per year, paying them 1500 RM each for 5 minutes seems a bit overkill.

i wondered what is the reason behind the difference in price ?

95 is 2 RM/L, 97 is 3 RM, that's a 50% price difference,
whereas in Europe, 98 is almost the same price as 95.

I wondered if the difference was legit, if the whole 1 extra RM is manufacturing/import costs ?
