how to save text in checkbox into database

what i wan to ask here is how can i save the name/text for the checkbox i select into database under a same field? as an example, if i have 5 checkbox, then i only will select 2, so how can i save the text for this checkbox?

*note : usually ppl will save the checkbox value in 1/0, i know how to do it this way. but if i wanna save as text in same field in database, how can i do it?

Problem with Loop

Let say i have been given 5 number in calculation and also the answer and the formula ( a * b + c - d). Only 4 number will be use in the calcualtion. So how i'm going to use the looping to find the a, b, c and d? Anyone expert in Loop can help me solve the problem?

about vb forms and screen resolution

izit any expert know how to fix the forms size in vb? what i mean here is when we change the screen resolution, the forms size are remain the same and wont become biger/smaller.

How to select the max record from a table

Hi

in my table i have some duplicate records but one column named date will change. for example

QUOTE

no Productname serial_no Date
1 xxxx 10sadf 8/27/2007
2 xxxx 10sadf 9/18/2007
3 aaaa fsdfsd 9/2/2007

from this table i want to select the latest date records of all product .

The result set should look like

QUOTE

1 xxxx 10sadf 9/18/2007
2 aaaa fsdfsd 9/2/2007

can any one help me by giving the query in mysql....
