Recommend place to stay

Need recommendation/suggestion - will be starting new job in Klang. need a place to stay but undecided where

I personally prefer Subang SS area. have rented a room in ss19 before. access to highway (federal) is so easy and traffic to klang is quite smooth (against traffic).

I have tried to look through most condo in Subang SS area and seems not so appealing. either too big, too expensive, very old/rundown, etc.

what i am looking for:
- condo/house either one is fine. prefer investment grade - easily rented out and hold its value
- close to vibrant/happening area
- easy access to highway towards klang (want to avoid traffic jams as much as possible)

budget 2.5k - 3k per month. 10% downpayment is ok.
other areas like ara dsara/ KJ/ PJ is ok as long as meet criteria above
oh also i am 30 and not married yet. plan to get married in future

VW Golf mk7

A friend (trusted one) wants to sell his vw golf year 2014 for around rm60k+. condition can be considered very good because it is a spare car. rarely used and very low mileage. have replaced gearbox before.

i'm thinking if i should get it as a "fun" car. only had local and jap cars all my life so want to try something new. have driven his car before as well as other vw golf. i think they are not bad.

of course the main consideration is reliability. i have read many negatives about the brand (vw = visit workshop, best friend with tow truck bla bla bla).

but since the price is within my affordability, do you think is a good idea to proceed??

BEWARE: Sotong B*nk is a Crook!

Background - I have a mortgage loan with Sotong. Recently I printed the last 6 months transaction history to check. I was surprised to see they have been charging me high interest despite the OPR rate has reduced since July 2020.

My outstanding principal is about RM550k. Interest 3.15%. Interest charges should be RM1,4**.
All the above info is stated in the summary page of my online account.

However, I noticed they only started reducing the interest charges to RM1,4** starting June 2021. The previous months (May and backwards), they were charging me interest > RM2,***

The OPR rate has remained low and unchanged since July 2020 so my interest charges should have been RM1,4** since one year ago.

I have called up to complain and the person immediately understood my concern. He has opened a report and will get back to me in 3 days time.

Conclusion - If you have any facilities with Sotong, please check properly!! You have been warned!!
Their rates are also higher than others
