This comes as Palestinians in the biblical place of Jesus Christ’s birth have this year decided to forego Christmas celebrations in solidarity with the Gazans as the war rages on.

The decision to tone down the Christmas festivities amid the ongoing war was taken last month in solidarity with Palestinians.

‘We feel sad’
The normally bustling Bethlehem on Christmas Eve was compared to a ghost town, on Sunday (Dec 24) as festive lights and Christmas tree decorated the city’s Manger Square were missing and so were the thousands of tourists who gather each year to mark the holiday.

Typically, pilgrims go to the reputed location of that stable in Bethlehem’s Byzantine-era Church of the Nativity, where most Christmases are joyful displays of lights and trees in Manger Square. Instead, the city marked Christmas with candle-lit hymns and prayers for peace in Gaza.

This year a Nativity scene in Manger Square showed a baby Jesus wrapped in a white shroud, reminiscent of the hundreds of children killed in the fighting in Gaza. The scene was also surrounded by barbed wire, the grey rubble in contrast to the joyous lights and bursts of colour that normally fill the square during Christmas.

“This Christmas comes to Bethlehem in a different shape. Nowadays Bethlehem, as any other Palestinian city, is in mourning. We feel sad,” said town mayor Hanna Hanania, lighting a candle in Manger Square.

“This year, without the Christmas tree and without lights, there’s just darkness,” said Brother John Vinh, a Franciscan monk from Vietnam who has lived in Jerusalem for six years, as quoted by the Associated Press.

He also spoke about always coming to Bethlehemj to mark Christmas, but this year was especially sobering.

As much as /k loves to suck Netanyahus dick due to their misplaced resentment toward Palestinian because of the Malays, I hope they can spare a thought for the Palestinian Christians who are also suffering in Bethlehem, the supposed birth place of Jesus Christ.

To those nons who are not even Christian but still go out to celebrate drinking and dining, spare a thought to those who actually are Christians but cant even celebrate their own holiday. Be thankful for what you have…

Cibai driver left my food outside where I couldnt see it and didnt even miss call or message me to let me know the food was here. Hid it to the side of my house gate and when my mom went out to throw the trash she saw the food outside.

1. A friend who has Maybank app on their phone
2. Your Maybank QR receive code

Steps:
1. Ask to borrow your friends phone, open his/her/it Maybank app

2. When prompted for fingerprint/face id click cancel.

3. Click the “QRPay” button to access their QRPay without needing their password

4. Open your own Maybank QRPay page and click on the receive tab.

5. Scan your phones QR code with your friends phone and send their money to your bank account.

Although it is highly recommended that you do not share any nudes of yours to anyone else even the people you trust and love, sometimes it seems that blackmail can occur even when you did not take the pictures yourself.

A Malaysian man recently took to his Facebook to share how he was recently blackmailed by his Chinese national ex-girlfriend for RM80,000 when she threatened to release his nude photos.

He found out that the culprit who is an international student from China studying at a private university in Nilai, had taken nude photos and videos of him when he was drunk.

“I’ve forgotten that her phone could recover deleted files automatically. After we had broken up for a while, she started to threaten and blackmail me.”

He said that they have been together around a year and after they had broken up, she proceeded to threaten to leak his nudes to the public. She then blackmailed him to pay RM80,000 and that in return she would not release the nudes and bother him ever again.

However, on Saturday night (28th May) he received an anonymous text on WhatsApp demanding a further RM100,000 within an hour.

The man said that the perpetrator had help from local friends to create a fake bank account and number to demand that sum from him.

However, he decided not to pay the demanded RM100,000 and instead, lodged a police report to prevent any more blackmailing from them.

In his Facebook post, he urged the public to take his experience as a cautionary tale and hoped that people out there wouldn’t ever have to experience such an embarrassing situation.

We hope that this will serve as a reminder for you to be careful on who you trust. Always be careful with who you meet both on and offline to prevent being blackmailed and extorted like this.

This whole SKT issue shows that most Malaysian reason with emotion and biasses. The frenzy of people who comes to her defense at the slightest hole being poked in her testimonial is insane. Death threats and wishes on me and my family for just questioning her defense.

Ironic that these people think that they’re any different than those bootlickers defending Najib even when the evidence is 1000% against him.

Anyways, I hope her matter gets sorted out by the Court of Appeal as soon as possible so everyone can get some closure. Best of luck to her lawyers and hope everyone has a good weekend.
