Change Graphic card = Change PSU ?

my current desktop graphic card ATI X1550 has spoiled and now i decided to change a graphic card. what i worry is my power supply could not afford the power. My power supply is Acbel 300 watt power output..so what graphic card should i take to avoid change in PSU.

Asus p7h55 v MSI h55m-p33

which is the best among 2 of these, Asus is RM385 and MSI is 285...Asus p7h55 v MSI h55m-p33. .specs is so similar, anyone can help me out to diffenrentiate

what is the actual difference between core 2 duo and i3 or i5 ? which one is better ? why i-series processor dont have FSB instead of GPU. If i have graphic card means GPU will nothing for us..please advise me coz i going to buy a new desktop with budget of 2.5k

ATI- VPU Recovery Error

I'm using Power Color ATI x1550 Graphics card..

Recently, First of all, i have noticed the screen is many "lines" and its "vibrating", it getting worse like i swap to another programs like switch from mycomputer to FIREFOX, or enter game (DOTA)..my computer will often blank out suddenly, and the screen will later reappear with this following msg:

"VPU Recover has reset your graphics accelerator as it was no longer responding to graphics driver commands. Pls tell ATI technologies about this".

Follow by a Don't Send Report and Send Report button below it.

I tried to reformat my windows.. i took out my graphics card, reslot it in again. I tried uninstal my ATI graphics card driver then reinstall the latest driver for my particular graphic cards..Things are getting worse and worse, bluescreen is appear, i have not encountered any BLUESCREEN since i bought my PC in 2007, it was doing fine all the time.

But after doing all that, the problem still persists.

And recently, my computer auto restart once a while for no reason. Is it bcos of my graphics card problem? I'm using a XP SP..

Thank u of helping me out of this, i was thinking take to computer shop for repair but first of all i have to identify what is the main problem to cause this problem in order to avoid "head chopping"..

i going to buy a new set of computer and i heard quite numbers of shop having bad reputation, can u all guide me which shop to go and price is fairly reasonable (all shop is almost the same)...i dont want end up in a sucks pc shop like "STARTEC". Guide me, thank u.
