Bitcoin briefly crashed 87% to about $8,000 on Binance's US crypto-trading platform

Bitcoin plummeted to $8,200 on Binance's US platform, Cointelegraph first reported.
The brief decline in the cryptocurrency was an 87% fall from $65,815.
Binance's CEO tweeted: "Expect very high volatility in #crypto over the next few months."
Bitcoin briefly plummeted to about $8,000 on Thursday - but only on the Binance US trading platform.
The coin had been trading around $65,000 when Binance US posted a candle that showed the price sank to about $8,000, Cointelegraph first reported, adding that the coin's one-minute candle floor on other crypto platforms was about $64,000.
In an email to Insider, the company said: "One of our institutional traders indicated to us that they had a bug in their trading algorithm, which appears to have caused the sell-off. We are continuing to look into the event, but understand from the trader that they have now fixed their bug and that the issue appears to have been resolved."
On Twitter, CEO Changpeng Zhao said to "expect very high volatility in #crypto over the next few months."

Discussions around the drop trended on Twitter, with crypto traders posting photos of Binance US's bitcoin candlestick chart, a graph that tracks patterns in price movements, and calling it a scam.
The account @Crypto_Chase, which has more than 55,000 followers, said: "Well done Binance US." The account added that Americans were forced to use poor exchanges where they "can get completely scammed on unreasonably thin books."
CNBC previously reported the price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies could vary from exchange to exchange because of the difference in supply on big platforms to small platforms. On top of that, there's no set way to price bitcoin, CNBC said.
Valuing bitcoin, along with other cryptocurrencies, has remained a challenge for markets. Compared with stocks, where investors have many standardized ways to value companies, like price-to-earnings ratios, the methods for cryptocurrencies aren't nearly as structured or well known yet, Insider reported previously.
Bitcoin has been trading around record highs this week on investor hype regarding regulator approval for the first bitcoin-linked exchange-traded fund. On Wednesday, the cryptocurrency hit an intraday peak of $66,976.

The show is a masterpiece, but ending so anticlimactic. The conversation with il nam wasnt so special for him to suddenly just change his mind. I think 99% wanted hero to get into the plane atleast see his daughter once. But again he break his promise.

I think if if the ending show the hero living happily using the money and the cop find him and together they catch the man at train station would have been better ending.

The squid game seem to have in every country. The organisation too big and rich. What could he do as a player in season 2?probably gang up with the cop and blow up the island using the bomb at vip emergency escape.

So underwhelming. Tom Holland is a great actor, but he is nothing like Nathan Drake, he acting is so stoic and wooden, its going to be a huge flop guaranteed. The trailer already show literally every scene. Nothing special. Even that awesome music is not there.

People always ask me, you dont have any frens? I say no and they say i am lying. They say its impossible not to have frens. But for me its normal. I got bullied alot during school and in university by my so called frens. so i started avoiding people every chance i get. I do feel lonely but at least its peaceful. I bought a gtx 1060 3gb 3days ago.. I already deep clean and change thermal paste with arctic mx5. For 3 days i use it without any problem. Today suddenly the gpu fans spin 100% its very loud. I already check temperature its still low so not heatsink contact problem. I already try remove driver with ddu. It gets silent. But after install driver the fans start spinning 100% again. I already try different pc also same. Try older driver also same. Try change thermal paste again and tight the screws same. Had anyone have same problem? Please help

Can be used to fund illegal activities, terrorism. No one can monitor or trace
Waste of resources. Millions of gpu wasted on mining. Easily damaged gpu coz 100% usage 24/7. If used for gaming can last many years.
Some miners even scamming gamers selling faulty gpu in this desperate times.

Lately I see so many rtx 3000 selling, albeit more than msrp price.. But it just alot of 3000 series, alot more wts post than gtx 1000 or 2000 series. Like every day increasing. But some of them is miners. Selling multiple card at lump sum money.
