So like, I am trying to design a Card Game which unites famous and my favourite works of fictions, be it from the west and east, from video games to animes, to comic books and novels to movie and TV Shows. I'm just doing my part in promoting and calling for world peace, happiness and prosperity. If we can't unite and settle our differences in this real world, perhaps we will find friendships and affections through fiction worlds. Amen.

The name of this fan Card Game is, currently, "Showdown of the Realms of Final Frays"

This fan Card Game will be completely non-commercial and no monetisation of any form will be involved. Including promotional YouTube videos that might come after it later. If anyone is interested, I'll send the softcopy over, once it's finalised and done.

Programming is fun.
It took me more than 24 hours, as the first 24 hours of my life in learning coding, to learn how to make tile-based map with a character sprite able to be moving around on it. XD
I'm not using any game engine. I'm using Visual Studio Code and Ruby Gem, and wrote the code from scratch..
I know I'm a noob for taking it so long to do this trivial function xD
Welp, it's my first time learning coding.

The first 13 hours was me writing a few RGSS3 scripts to patch Schala Engine of RPG Maker VXAce, and a few JavaScript plugins for Chrono Engine for RPG Maker MZ.
Realising how fun coding can be, I've been inspired by sheer desire to write my own game engine. So, I'm now taking baby steps as a start, that I wrote tiled based map and sprite using VSCode and Ruby Gem.

If yall have books and sites recommendations, pls do tell me, need all the help that I can get!

And if you are studying game design and development, let's be friends and help each other out!

I remember few years back, was watching on Netflix, there was this anime show that I really liked, but had to stop to watching because my laptop broke down, one, and two, I was broke. Now that I am subbed and have a good replacement, I would like to watch that anime again. But I forgot all about it. Could you help me find the anime? Here's what i can remember..

In the opening theme, there's this line that says "I won't be afraid of the sea, I will conquer the people"
The first episode opens with the hero's father being arrested in public. The hero's father is a war veteran hero, apparently.
The hero was, I think, an infant or a small boy when his father was arrested. I'm not sure but I think the hero's father was exiled to a far off faraway island. The hero from kid to teen would do public stunts saying that he will become a hero and join the army? The hero sets off on his journey after, I'm not sure about this, after his mom passed away. The hero eventually participate in a something like a martial art tournament where all the participants are required to climb and progress through the floors of a dungeon tower from bottom to top. The hero is accompanied by a fighter from noble family who is very cocky but often times are rescued by the hero...overall, I remember liking the story. I dont think I got into it half way.

Do any of you know it? Does it ring a bell? Twas on Netflix. I know I can just trial and error on Netflix to find it, but I would like some help given whilst I am watching some show on Netflix biggrin.gif

I know how to capture video on screen with crystal clear sound, but when I tried to put record of myself talking via the video capture device, i found out the output video has echoes in it.

How do I make a react video without echoes in its product? Help me
