TIL: claim insurance, get excess fee on renewal

So my doter didnt pull the hand break hard enough on honday siti and it slid then hit a van. very minor damage but the van is new and he wanted to claim insurance and we comply.
fast forward to now, she got charged with rm1000 excess fee on insurance renewal. so not only she got saman rm300 and lose 55% ncd. she also got excess fee on renewal which will be lifted if no claim upon next renewal.
No wonder some ppl die2 dont wana claim insurance lol.

Morning folks!
So before cny, someone bought something from me on fb marketplace and paid rm500. i double checked the amount and it is reflected. however, i cannot do postage until im back in malaysia.
yesterday, he told me his dad was hospitalized and needed the money and ask me to refund him and im ok with it.
this morning before i do refund, i double check the amount and i couldnt find the transaction. seems like the amount has been clawed back by the bank?

anyone experience something like this before?

need help with skyworth gn630v

Hi all,
all these while im having a reliable LAN but after the unifi change my plan and "upgrade" my router to this skyworth GN630V, everything went haywired.

xiaomi router doesnt have VLAN setting, thus in my previous setup, i use TM router for pppoe then connect LAN2 to WAN of xiaomi and set to obtain internet via DHCP IP. it has been working well but not with this skyworth box.

i connect the skyworth's LAN1/WAN to WAN of xiaomi but it just wont get any IP from the skyworth. i tried connecting LAN1/WAN to laptop and it can get DHCP IP.
i also tried connecting LAN2/3/4 to WAN of xiaomi but none work.

Any idea what went wrong? hopefully any sifu can give me some guidance.

Damn, few weeks ago got 1 aunty didnt stop at junction and i run into her car's rear bumper.
the result out say is her fault but i cannot claim due to section 52 coz she didnt report.
end up makan sendiri. is this some sohai loophole that can prevent ppl from claiming their insurance??
what are the repercussions for her not reporting? how is it fair to the victim?

last time when i always drove around, I at least ate kepci once a week. yes, at LEAST. sometimes more.
but as they keep increasing prices, I poorfag cannot afford dy so looking for alternatives.
friend brought me to hot bird ss15 and my gawd it is better than kepci hands-down.
my only grouses are with the buffalo wing as they served it cold and average coleslaw but still better than texas.

honestly, very satisfying meal. paid rm100 for this for 3 pax

why cinis got butthurt over wet ckt?

i read some argument about wet ckt especially on cinis side.
so the cinis was complaining about how 炒 (char) or fried should be dry as what they usually had and wet ckt is an abomination.

however they also failed to realize that wat tan hor (滑旦河) with literal translation "smooth egg river" also having a proper english name such as fried kuey teow with egg gravy (literal translation: 蛋汁炒粿条) is the same concept as wet ckt.

so with this argument, can we, once and for all agree that wet ckt is just another variation of ckt and nothing wrong with it being wet despite having the word 炒 (char) due to cultural differences?

hi guys. i gave my bike to a friend and he drives it every day. however, he said that the motor got mini mini problem.
when i ride it today, I feel like it lacks power even though he just serviced it last week with 5w40 fully synthetic oil.

problem I found:
1. when full throttle, it is slower than say 80% throttle.
2. the engine is rough and vibrates slightly
3. the meter glass/plastic cover vibrates quite noisy ketak ketak ketak sound when driving
4. the gear is not smooth i.e. when I wanna enter 1st gear, sometimes it wont click until I release clutch and press again. it is better if I don't use the adjustable clutch to shorten it but it still happens occasionally.

any idea what's happening with this bike? he did raise this issue with his regular workshop but they are not so familiar with this bike. any recommended workshop around old klang road, bukit jalil, or sri petaling?

so today my myanmar staff ask me to drop him at nsk for weekly grocery run.
since i nbtd i follow him inside and jalan2 look see what's new at nsk kuchai.
he got 3 paket of rm2.5 oil which is gomen subsidy oil and need to queue up about 5mins until his turn.
he parked the trolley and go buy groceries.
when we go to cashier, he realize the 3 paket oil gone missing lolzzz.
he go to oil stash there and it was finished.

this really open my eyes big2 about the desperation of other ppl until need to curi the 3 paket oil.

meanwhile i see some aunties and makciks queuing at counter with 3paket oil and 2 trays of egg only and nothing else.

last month twice wented puket, 1 early if the month for north andaman diving and late of the month with family.
now again at thai but at mangkuk arone. thai bath damn expensive now rm1 to 7.48 only 😅
luckily food and shopping at mangkuk still better than puket
