error when starting "at&t Communication Manager"

Problem details
First occurence of problem: -
Problem frequency: -
Problem description: last Saturday subscribe celcom broadband and get the modem. i try use my frenz's laptop to install, it works perfectly. However after i bc to my house and using my laptop, i still cant open the program "at&t Communication Manager" (which work perfectly on my frenz laptop). this error make me cant access to the broadband. i try uninstall and install again but still having same problem.

the error msg showed on my pc was:

" Couldn't find registry path: SOFTWARE\SmithMicro\QuickLink Mobile Plus"

then the 2nd error msg showed after this was:

" The Smith Micro QLM that you are running is a demo version which has now expired.
Please contact sales@smithmicro.com to inquire about an updated demo version. The application will now exit."

i really confuse about this. please help!
