I'm considering upgrading from my aging Proton Persona to a compact SUV, which will primarily be used for city driving (around 90% of the time). Here are my thoughts on a few options:

Perodua Ativa: Not a fan of this one.

Honda WR-V: I like it the most, but I find the lack of modern features disappointing, especially given the price.

Mazda CX-3: It’s the best to drive among the options, but the rear seats are too cramped for my liking.

Toyota Yaris Cross: Not coming into Malaysia?

Will there be other options in 2025 to look for?

I just installed a Schneider doorbell and it's working fine, but somehow I can feel the doorbell is slightly warm.

I asked the electrician to double check the wiring, and he said there is nothing wrong.

Share your Condo's lift maintenance fee

I just received the yearly financial report of my condo, my condo's lift maintenance fee is RM212k for one year, with total of 10 lifts across two blocks and 40 floors. The lift brand is OTIS.

This means it costs RM580/day to maintain all the lifts.

Does this figure make any sense? it is cheap or expensive?

Increment of Indah Water bill

Any idea what Pelarasan is?

Indah Water customer service is not being helpful. I wrote several emails but received zero response from them.

I was not aware that there was an increment of fee. I used to pay RM36 for every 6 months, and now the amount is doubled, and there is an unknown charge of RM30 for pelarasan.
