[WTA] Cost of building a wall

Hi guys,

I am planning to build up a wall at my backyard to convert small space into laundry area, because sometimes when heavy rain, water can splash into the area...scared will spoil the machine ...and also to avoid prying eyes

The size of the wall that i am planning to build is as per photo
Planning to take the door & windows from the original position too and put it on the new wall

How much will this cost roughly? Do I need to have a base or can just stack the bricks from the floor?Cant afford to do major reno for now..either this or i have to put my washing machine somewhere else

MacBook fan running full speed

Hi everyone
My MacBook fan will run at full speed (around 4,400rpm above) 90% of the time when i'm using it
The noise from the fan is quite disturbing
Anyone knows what is the cause for fan running so fast? Saw that the CPU gets quite hot, does it mean CPU can't really cope anymore? however I'm not using any heavy software. Even opening Chrome/Microsoft Word will cause the fan to full blast
When I tried to open iPhoto, Chrome, and Photoshop simultaneously, then it will get super lag and ask me to restart

My MacBook Spec:
MacBook White Late 2006 model
1.83GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
2GB RAM
500GB HDD
Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6.8)

Just wanna share some photos from my trip to Grand Canyon in April. The trip started from Las Vegas where I rent a car there and made a road trip

Destination : Grand Canyon
Distance : 280 miles/450km (from Las Vegas)
Duration : around 5 hours
Fee : $80 (i bought annual pass)

Finally! Its a long straight drive

From Grand Canyon we made a stop in Flagstaff, a small town famous for its Snowbowl Ski Resort. Its a 1 1/2 hour drive from Grand Canyon. We spent a night here because lodging/campingsite in Grand Canyon area was fully booked

When i was a kid back then, my late dad will bought bunch of Jalur Gemilang and put it on all of our cars and along the house gate (and left there till next merdeka lol)

Nowadays very rare to see cars put flag like this anymore.. so in the spirit of 60th MERDEKA celebration I bought 1 for my car.. hopefully it wont fly away

Not sure how it happened as i'm few cars behind on emergency lane (riding motorcycle) but heard a loud bang and saw the van flipped over

It happened on the contra lane, so i guess 1 of the car had swerve to other lane, and head-on to each other

Both driver survived, van driver few bruises (chatted with him) and the Alza driver no injuries on her.. saw child car seat in the car, luckily no kids inside. Alza both front airbag deployed

the road is predicted gonna be more jam both ways as its already jam before the accident happen.. those gonna use SILK be patient ya

Hi everyone, i am planning to extend my house gate so i need to demolish the existing trash bin structure in order to do that. Would like to have some idea how much it would cost to do it

What I Want
- To demolish trash bin structure
- To cement the grass area for parking area

What i want to know
- how much will it cost to demolish the structure?
- how much will it cost to cement the grass area?
- If i want to use it as parking space will the cement hold the weight of car?
- what option i have for the drainage area next to the grass if i want to cover it all? No problem if i cement it all?

My neighbor extend his house until no parking space and trash area and decided to build trash structure in front of my house... And his water filter pipe also went through my house.. what should i do about this? This house was rented before and i just moved in so didnt know much history of it

Hi everyone,
I am planning to travel to Las Vegas, USA this year as my company provide me with 2 return tickets. Planning to go with my wife and might bring along our daughter together, if budget permits.

I never been to US before, thus i was informed by the travel agent to apply for visa first. However i would like to ask about the accomodation and activities that i can do there.

1. We are planning to be there for 10 days (14 in total, 4 days for flight) and it seems overkill to spend the whole 10 days in Vegas. Read online that Los Angeles is not that far, around 4-5 hours drive from Vegas. Is it advisable to rent a car and drive there? Since LA has Disneyland, might be able to bring my daughter to go there. But looks like Disneyland LA is quite big, is 1 day enough?

2. Hotel - looking for cheap hotel as we try to maximize budget on other things. As long got bed+bathroom shud be ok.,, any website/hotel to recommend?

3. Budget - We are looking at RM10k for hotel+food+car rent+souvenirs for this trip for 3 of us. Is it enough or too optimistic? Quite sad with the weakening ringgit today

Any advice and tips are highly appreciated
