Can't Completely Remove WLM [Updated]

As per topic, here's how my story goes:-

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

I was previously using an old version of Windows Live Messenger (7.5??) but I have encounter some minor problems (such as it takes some time to sign in and there's a black icon beside the messenger icon on the right hand side of my task bar everytime), so I decided to delete it and re-install the new version. I manage to completely remove the old version through add/remove program through the control panel.

Then, I started installing the new version (2009) and managed to complete the installation but I can't sign-in to my account so I decided to re-install it. Did the same thing as what I did for the old version to remove the program before I reinstall the new version (through the add/remove program) but I can't find the program with the name Windows Live Messenger in the list so I did a research and later found out that it's under Windows Live Essential so I managed to uninstall the messenger through there. I made my second attempt to re-install but the same problem occur where I can't sign-in my account again so I managed to do a research through the net and found out that it's quite a common problem, I was asked to go to the Add/Romove Program and repair the software with the name 'Windows Live Essential' so I went and I did as guided. Unfortunately, when I click on the remove/repair button, a screen pops-up asking if I want to continue removing the soft so I click 'yes' and the software disappear from the list. However, the Windows Live Messenger software still exist in my pc because when I downloaded the installer again to install, it's written there that I have already installed Windows Live Messenger for my pc. Now I'm lost on what to do next as I've tried various methods through some research with google but so far nothing seem to work for me.

Well, to cut short the story, how can I completely remove the software, Windows Live Messenger from my pc without using the Add/Remove Program in the Control Panel as in like completely removing it from my registry so that I can re-install the software??

Short Course for 3d Studio Max and Photoshop

Sry if this topic had been discussed before. I'm actually an interior architecture student in my 2nd year and unfortunately my uni's course structure doesn't include 3d studio max and photosho. I'm aware of the essentials of these programmes and that's why i'm looking for a short course to improve my skills in these programmes since I'm in my holiday now. The problem is I don't know where and how to look for these sort of course. 1 of my friend actually went to this 3ds course offered by ALFA (it's a college in PJ) but it cost RM1k for the whole course For me, i think it's a bit too expensive and i'm hoping to look for a cheaper alternatives. Anybody can help me here??
