Auto transmission slip just before downshift

Dear all,

I own a Kembara '02 running on auto transmission, I have noticed that just before the transmission downshifts from 4th gear to 3rd gear, it seems to slip just a little bit (increasing by about 200 to 400 RPM before actually downshifting). This usually happens either just as I begin to go up a steep hill or just after I increase throttle significantly, and this doesn't happen when it downshift from 3rd gear to 2nd gear.

Need some advice before sending my car to workshop, Thank you

As topic, i have a Kembara HCEJ, fuel consumption is high and clocked 170K kms, suspect is oxygen sensor problem, is it true that if oxygen sensor is faulty engine check light will on?

Noisy after Top overhaul

Hi everyone, i send Kembara to do top overhaul because oil leaking and valve knocking piston due to timing pulley gear loose, today i got my car back but i was very dissapointed, as i know, Kembara engine makes more noise compared to normal car when rev above 3k rpm, but, after doing top overhaul, the engine has very loud noise while revving, its like a lorry engine, what cause this irritating sound? Workmanship problem or they replace cheap parts for my engine?

Been spending 2 hours to take out the throttle body and searching for the Idle Air Control, but couldn't find it..
