^This from linus and many others claiming g the same, between LHR and bitcoin crash gpu prices are down, guys I'd say habe patience, thats the only way scalpers will be forced to further decrease peices, dont buy anything from them for atleast a week or two and watch the prices drop.

I saw anmite 27 4k 60/ 2k 144hz dual mode monitor on shopee and lazada yesterday and could omly find reviews fpr the smaller 24 inch 2k 75hz monitor on youtube, whoih seemed to be fairly good, but nothing for the 27inch 4k model, has anyone here tried it out?

Hello my fellow loyat forum members, i joined this community recently as it reminds me of a similar forum back home in Pakistan

I am making this thread for discussion and opions on used prices for past high end cards like the 1080ti, 2080 super and 2080ti etc

What do you guys think should be fair prices for these 3 cards in your opinion?

In my opinion ill start with the 1080ti

The almost 4 year old beast is certainly no slouch when it comes to rasterization performance, initially being faster than the 2080 when. Turing launched but as turing matured it fell on pairty and now slightly behind in modern titles. When the 3060ti launched starting from 1900rm from various vendors i believe its worth fell a great deal.

The future is no doubt all about ray tracing, more and more titles are coming out with it and recently UE4 one of the two most popular engines along with unity, just got a raytracing branch for everyone to use.

And in ray tracing the 1080ti gets destroyed even by the original 2060 when using the dx12 raytracing api and on top of that even the 1660 slightly beats it in dx12 raytracing titles due to its new core architecture and f32 and 64 simultaneous execution units.

With all that in mind i wouldn't pay more than 1100rm for a good model in good condition, no warranty obviously.

The 2080 super
This card launched as a refresh of sorts for turing, improving rhe horrible price to performance ratio is rasterization and eclipsijg the 1080ti completely. Not to mention its great ray tracing performance.

With that in mind, with the launch of first 3070 for 2399rm and now 3060ti for 1900 for brand new, i believe its value has diminished greatly
And as such it should always sell lower than a brand new 3060ti dual fan design with, the 3060ti is faster consistently across all titles both in rasterization and ray tracing.

I would personally would not buy a 2080 super for more than 1500rm used in good condition.

Now the 2080ti, the king of turing (except for titan rtx) its value has diminished the most, with the launch of a brand new 3070 for 2399, it makes no sense to pay the same price as a 3070, some people cant get over that fact and keep listing it for ridiculous prices ranging from 2500-3000.

Personally i would not pay more than 2000rm for a used rtx 2080ti.

What are your opinions? This thread isn't made to offend owners of these cards, its based on careful benchmark research and performance and new/used value.
