A female colleague of mine at work recently asked me if I know any rental place with an understanding landlord/landlady. I asked her if she only wants strictly female only or doesn't mind staying with mixed couples from other rooms in the same unit. She said she doesn't mind that as she will be staying with her 23 year old male brother.

She told me her brother is very clingy type. Afraid of the dark and ghosts. Need to sleep with the light on. And cannot sleep alone. She said, her parents gave up on him as they think he's too much to be cared for or handled. Obviously, I'm not in her shoes but she's a good soul who looks after her brother more than her parents. Her brother seemed normal from what she told me, just a few behavioral weirdness I find.

Do you have siblings like that? If a female then I'd understand but he's growing up to be a man. Help me understand more.
