Hi all,

need some help here.

I need to configure portforwarding to my laptop. I configure it in my router to point to my Tomcat server in my laptop which is hosted at port 8080.
I configure it as shown in the pic below.

I double check my IP address, is correct. When i use other pc with not same network to test to connect to my public ip, i still cannot get it. The error is Cannot connect.

What's wrong wif my configuration?

Details of the complaint :

This gal is asking for consignment products to sell in her booth in a bazaar. We have her IC photocopy and her address, and had her signed on a consignment letter.
She's so particular on those black and white so I thought she is not a scammer.

I left the stock for her so long and just ask her sometimes how was the sales by SMS-ing her. She did reply me and say the sales was not good. She's moving to other places for the bazaar. OK, after a very long time (I almost forgot about this thing cos the stock I gave her are my clearance stock), I was thinking to have a booth in a bazaar too so I'm asking her to give me back the stock. She gives me an excuse that she's busy, maybe some other day. End up, I didn't get back the stock too cos my idea of opening a booth is cancelled.

Until 1 day satisfashion08 (victim too) asking me if I had my stock returned cos she couldn't contact this gal. I tried to call her also but the number is out of service alrd. She did not log in to LYN too for quite a time (last login is 3/9/09). Just now satisfashion08 told me that she tried to go to the address which is in her IC, but the place is empty. The IC that she gave us is either old IC or fake address, i don't know.

I'm opening this thread and see if somebody knows this gal and knows how to contact her so that we could get back our stuff.

Error in connecting Oracle

Hi all expert,

Few days ago I have a program connecting to Oracle, it works fine. suddenly yesterday when i see the log, there's a connection fail to the Oracle.
(Oracle is on different server of my program)

Then I try to use Squirrel SQL Client to connect to the Oracle db. I get the following error code:
Listener refused the connection with the following error:
ORA-12528, TNS:listener: all appropriate instances are blocking new connections

Anyone knows what will be the problem? I did not do anything nor set anything to the DB server.
I've tried to restart the DB server. Still not working...

I've code at the above... When i run this code, the checkform() variable sid = undefined. why? the checkform() function runs after the <input>

Cant connect to network

Hi,
I'm sorry if i explain this thing not detail enuf cos i'm a noobie in these thing.

I've a linux machine, I've plugged in the network cable but I can't connect to the network.
I try to ping itself, the result is ok. But when I try to ping other pc in the same network, it said "Destination Host Unreachable"

I've activated the network device, I've disabled the firewall. What else can I do? What will be the problem?

Thanks if you could provide me a constructive advise.

Claim back exam fees

I've just passed my SCJP exam. I heard from my fren tat we can claim back 75% of the exam fees from MDEC if we have passed the exam.
I've asked for the info and it's true. So I just wanna share wif all of u.. cos most of the ppl doesn't know tat we can claim back. Not only SCJP exam can claim, other exam too!

HOWEVER, the application must be approved b4 u sit for the exam.. too bad~ I cant get it cos i dono i've to apply b4 i sit for the exam.

Operation fail when installing Java app

I've a java app. After I sign a certificate to the app, and i upload it to WAP and download back to mobile.
When it's trying to download and install, then "Operation fail" occurs. The phone is W880i.

Anybody has tis problem before? how to solve it?

*I've tried downloading a non-signing app and it runs smooth.

Capture Image cause out of memory

Hi,

I've a project where i allow user to capture image using mobile phone and send to the server. The problem is sometimes the phone will hang after capture image. i suspect is out of memory. Any solution to tat? Cos i've set null for whichever things tat consume memory and not using anymore after captured.

Anyone experienced b4 when u change from low level UI to high level UI, it seems ok, but when change from high level UI to low level UI, there's a slight lag and like black screen a second then go back. any1 know wat's the problem there and how to solve?

Anyone face any problem when using this? I've use a textfield and the constraint is TextField.PhoneBook. But when I test it in some phones (Nokia), press the phonebook out then the whole application will hang. Do u face such problem? is there a better way to implement it?
