I'm in audit firm, working as tax associate. I'm thinking of transfer to audit department because after experience tax, I feel like I doesn't learn much, means slower career progression and less money. Imagine my colleagues worked for 6-7 years, still find rm10 a meal expensive. I'm in KL btw. However when I interviewed for tax position HR and boss asked why I don't want audit, and I said I don't like audit. Yeah it's true I don't think I will enjoy audit, but I wish to switch job because of the opportunities. Any suggestions on how to mention this to my manager/boss/hr? In the contract is not stated have the phone allowance and I have asked they say is in the employee handbook. Okay I believe her... Then I received my first salary...don't have receive any phone allowance.. when check employee handbook stated it is only for manager and above.. So I feel cheated, why tell me about this allowance when I am obviously not entitled? Should I ask HR about that? But it is just phone call which she told me, without any written evidence..
