Wisdom tooth operation question

I just had a wisdom tooth extraction yesterday and o boy that was a nightmare to me. She actually took around 3 hours to remove mine. She said my tooth is too inside the meat, and the root is really deep. One last time is that the root has been curled, so she's having hard time taking it out. But i suffered a serious swollen and bleeding after it.

I still have another to do so and this already made my day ( nightmare i mean ). Is it normal that she took that long to take out the tooth? Somemore I can't really swollen properly now as my left side of the face is swollen quite badly....

Night Portrait shooting

Hi gurus,

Recently I met a lot of occasions whereby i took photo during night time. As we know that scenery at night time is really pretty, and I do hope I can capture the moment along with my girlfriend.

So here's the thing, I'm currently using Canon 50D, with Tamron 17-50mm Portrait Lens, and Flashgun. I found out that if I use flashgun. The scenery will be blacked out due to the fact that the flash cannot travel so far hence it will only show my gf in the photo. But if I took photo without the flash, I increase the ISO and lower down the exposure. The shutter speed will be increase to like 2 sec ( which is too long and cause blurry image ). How can I solve this problem?

(P/S: During that time I was thinking of using my tripod. But I was at a windy environment )

Volume is getting lower and lower

Guys, I got one question that has been in my mind since i buy my first 5.1 speaker. Do all speaker volume control will get lower and lower for a period of time. Such as, supposedly you tune the volume to 30%, then the volume you experienced will be 30%. After using the speaker for 1 year, if I tune the volume to 30%, the sound experience is not as loud as 1 year ago. My speaker is currently S330. Is it possible to prevent such problem like this? Anyone know the reason? Thanks

Career Path

I'm graduated in 2008. Currently work as Software Engineer. But the current job is belong to software support. I know that finding job for software development is tough because you need to have the programming skills. Since now already 2011, and I find myself most of my programming skill are lost. So right now I'm applying the cooperate training courses to get official cert.

I went to training courses company for information. He said currently the most famous cert are MCTIP. And he recommends me to go for it as right now alot of companies are pursuing these kinds of talents. I do have no issue changing my career path. But i do not know whether is it really good for me to go ahead and change my path, I do not forseen any future in server path, but i do see the future for software development. ( Maybe I haven't actually go through the server job before, thats y i have this kind of thoughts).

I personally like software development job, but due to the fact that my programming skill is getting rusty after 2 years as my job is not belong to development. So thinking of retaking the programming courses and refresh what i have learnt and get the certification to gain my confidence.

What you guys think about this? I know future is in my hands. But i would like to know MCTIP career path is more on server side, I would like to know which job scope is much appropriate for me. Thanks
