Role: Forward Deployment Engineer - full time, KL based. You'll be at client sites a fair bit, occasional SEA travel.

Remuneration: RM6,000 - RM10,000/month depending on experience, plus ESOP after you pass probation. We have an employee share pool - allocation and vesting discussed properly at offer stage, not vague founder talk.

Hi all. KL voice AI startup here, looking for one Forward Deployment Engineer. 3-8 years experience, hungry, wants to be in front of clients rather than behind a ticket queue. Small team, founder-led, no layers.

What we do
We build voice AI agents that call people - collections, telesales, customer service. The hard part isn't the LLM, it's making the thing sound like an actual Malaysian on the phone. BM, Manglish, Singlish, Mandarin, Cantonese, and switching mid-sentence like everyone here does. Already running in production with paying clients.

What you'd do
We sign a POC, you take it live. That's the job.

In practice: config, integration, tuning, UAT, go-live. Sitting there listening to call recordings figuring out why the bot cut the customer off, why there's a 2 second lag, why it sounds like a robot reading a script. Then wiring it into the client's telephony/SIP, CRM, WhatsApp, whatever they run. Then explaining all of it to the client's ops manager who just wants his recovery rate up.

Why here and not a bank or an agency
We're AI-native in how we work, not just what we sell. We prototype live in front of the client - they describe the problem in the room, we build it in the room. Our project manager is an AI agent sitting in Telegram that plans and tracks the work for us. You'll have your hands on real production voice systems in week one and ship at a speed that isn't possible in a normal shop.

Stack we touch
Python, REST, webhooks, JSON, SIP, STT/TTS, LLM APIs, agent frameworks, CRM integrations, WhatsApp Business API, cloud, git. You don't need all of it. You need to be the type who reads docs and makes things work.

Who fits
You've shipped something real for a paying client. You're fine when requirements are vague. You can hear when a voice agent sounds off, not just read logs. If you lean hard on AI tooling to move fast, we like that.

Who doesn't
If you want a clean ticket queue and someone telling you what to build, this will be painful.

Cash is what it is for a startup our size - we're trading some of it for speed, ownership and equity. If cash is your priority right now, take the bank job, no hard feelings.

Hi all,

I have been passively been trading and investing for the last 1 year and recently got hooked with using statistics and mathematics to trade rather than looking at charts and Technical Indicators.

I am just wondering whether they are any like minded people who like to explore trading using quantitative methods and what are your experience ?

For example , many retail traders use MACD , RSI etc , but there are other ways to look at the market , we can use ADF (augmented dickey fuller test) and Hurst Exponent to measure whether the market is mean reverting or trending and apply the algo/strategy accordingly,

We can use more reactive measurement with noise filtering technique to measure the average price instead of simple moving averages (sma) which is overly lagging.

Anyone using Tradingview?

I have recently picked up trading, and find tradingview quite ok , especially their pinescript is pretty good to write simple strategy.

I am wondering anyone here has thought of using tradingview to auto trade fcpo , rubber , forex etc?

i have some programming background and want to build a system to connect to the brokers using signals from tradingview , i just wonder whether there are pple who would like to use such services ( example, you are already using tradingview to write strategy and indicators, but you would like to auto trade ) .

Any feedback, discussions, much appreciated thanks in advance!
