Who Else Had A Bad Internship

So I baru je enter this internship for 2 and half months give or take...and it's bad. Not the worst, but its pretty bad.

Everyday kena marah and sut bros to the point I'm now phobia to show boss my completed tasks. Another intern kena marah I also automatically kena sut too, even though I didn't do anything wrong.

One time, I kena marah for no reason because she misunderstood me and refused to listen. I was not making excuses btw, I was trying to tell my direct supervisor what I was doing at the time, however, my boss had misunderstood me and thought that I spent the whole morning doing this one minor task, then comes the 30 minute time wasting speech about how we are not successful people "because successful people ah, can learn after making one mistake, so they won't waste time..." etcetc. I can't tell you how much time I wasted because of these speeches (up to 2 hours speech also kena bros)

Every mistake will cause one of this 'one on one' speech. 2 months already I can say I wasted a lot of time listening to the same repetitive speech.

The boss also tends to talk about her 12 year experience working and that basically my work sucks (this happened to other staff as well). I thought interns were meant to make mistakes and learn from them??? This job makes me fear making mistakes. Macam ni mana boleh improve myself My boss makes good points but the way they are delivered not only affects me negatively, but also the whole office environment. (Other staff also scared they kena marah next tau)

Got one more funny story, the whole week so stress and tense JUST BECAUSE boss refused to let go of one of the staff (even though boss told him if the staff can't deliver what she wanted the staff can go find another job). Ask him find other job, but spent 4 hours meeting convince staff to stay. 4 HOURS. Omg. And this happened total 3 TIMES. Recently, yesterday only spent 2 hours sampai after working hours (6.30pm) talk about that.

WORST OF ALL. Boss ai sukaaa assume shit. She assumes that I talked bad behind her back with other staff just because I'm friends with them and making connections with others. THIS LOGIC. She then spent ANOTHER weird meeting talking about HER stress (and of course la i understand her position I bukan hati batu ok) but she also included how 'we' as in me and other staff talk bad about her, i was speechless. She was even SEEKING ADVICE from ME on how to handle another staff pulak.

Paid like an intern, treated like a full time. Consequences pon kena like a full time staff. Oh well.

There's more that I can talk about but I'm tired after this.
