Ubuntu is seeking $32 million on Indiegogo for its first smartphone

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room. Say hello to the Ubuntu Edge, the first smartphone to use open-source Ubuntu Touch software as well as Android -- and the people behind it want your help with a multimillion-dollar crowdfunding campaign.

Ubuntu creator British company Canonical wants to bring the dual-booting Edge to fruition by raising a whopping 21.5 million pounds ($32 million) in a month on Indiegogo. It claims this is the biggest target ever for a crowdfunded campaign. The campaign intends to produce 40,000 units; if you want to own an Edge of your very own, you'll get a handset if you pledge 394 pounds ($600) today, or 532 pounds ($830) thereafter.....

Tired after eating

Hi guys,

I always feeling very tired, sleepy and having hot flashes after i eating.Everytime after i eat, for sure im unable to do anything cause im feeling very2 tired

I dont know what might cause this, currently i didnt see any doctor yet..

This condition really affect my work.Guys please advice

Constant discomfort in stomach

Hi guys..

Almost every day i will having discomfort in my stomach
When it become worse, i will having constant nausea and sometime an urge to vomit almost for entire day
Currently i have no time to see doc, any tips to cure this?

Hard Disk Problem

Hi guys

I have a problem here, I dont know whether my hd already kaput or not
Sometime my hd make a click2 sound and i can see the hd led keep on blinking non stop eventhough there is no process running on that drive
Sometime my hd not even being detected by Bios but sometime its being detected by bios and work normally
Worse part is, the drive being detected and work normally when i start the pc, but after half an hour using the pc, the drive simply crash and the drive is not being detected in myComputer and the hd led keep on blinking
Is that a sign that my hd going to kaput?
Please advise

Can u guys suggest me any software that allow me to view all connected computer to my wifi, and possibly and option to disconnect them?
Btw, net view command bring me nothing

Newbie here
Need some help..
Well i think my ubuntu has going insane
actually i didnt know what make it constantly crash
maybe i make some mistake during intallation ubuntu to windows
when i open grub.lst..it just an empty file.. rofl
currently i cant even login to ubuntu
is there a way that i can access my home folder so i can copy some file that really important
is there a way to fix this problem rather that reinstalling ubuntu

Weird Streamyx Connection

Hi Guys,

Just want to ask wether u guys had same experience with me

Before this,when im connect to streamyx, there will be an icon in taskbar that will popup for succesfull connection with speed connection

Usually it will show 100mb of speed

But today i got 1gb of speed..

I just curious what is happening

p/s:I just subscribe for 1mb package

Im new to ubuntu..in windows im using idm for all my download
But in ubuntu i find its hard to have download manager like idm that support site login to site like rapidshare when im using premiun account that require authentication and can support simultaneous downloading

Hello guys..

I just want to show security hole that i just found on tv3 site..
Im wondering how they develope their website without security in mind
They do not perform proper validation on their comment page

I just perform javascript injection..i just alert message box and then redirect visiotr to that page to the al-jazeera website
This is why javascript is not recommended to perform validation for any user input,instead used server side

Hi there

i just started using ubuntu..so im sorry for my noob question

in windows if i want to remove any plug and play device such thumbdrive,i have to click on 'savely remove..' to remove my thumbdrive the correct way
but in ubuntu i dont find any menu to safely remove the thumbdrive,so i just pull yhe drive

is this the right way?
im afraid damaging my thumbdrive

Hi there i just bought Dsl-520B

problem is when i switch the modem its automatically connect to the isp
i dont want that..i want to manually connect to the internet

and second is the status led on dsl-520b keep on blinking..
is it normal or not?
