Basically, I&#39;m taking a gap year - deferring my studies due to obvious reasons - and I want to do something good for the society. Especially due to this pandemic, many are definitely not doing well - no job security, financial difficulties, etc. Specifically, I&#39;m concerned about the underprivileged. My definition of &#39;underprivileged&#39; are the communities who don&#39;t get to enjoy necessities - food, clothing, stationaries and perhaps computer (since many classes are going online) or proper care for the elderly, etc. I don&#39;t wish to miss anyone out but I would like to have some input here, who do you think are the most heavily affected by the pandemic? In other words, who needs help the most? I know there&#39;s nothing much a 19 year old can do, but I&#39;m going to try nevertheless. <br /><br />What I have in mind is to start a fundraising campaign - essentially, I want to promote equality. In other words, you can say that I want to transfer a small proportion of wealth from the privileged to the underprivileged. I would like to ask if a small project of mine would require a registration with the ROS (Registrar of Society) and JKKN? Have anyone had any experience before doing fundraising and could enlighten me in one way or another? I would be very grateful for some input.<br /><br />Do note that I&#39;m not limiting to just fundraising, I&#39;m leaving my options open.
