Hello

i have a question playing around my head for while now

Im very interested in Computer science so i’m planning to study in MMU well because it’s one of the best university for computer science in malaysia. Then i have one problem i’m very suck or weak in math and even got an F back in highschool but that was years ago and now i already completed my diploma in EE and got CGPA 3.34 and got C for my math ( Math for Technology ). i never got an A for my math.

Seriously im very interested in Computer Science and i spent around 6 months doing some research about the program and its future to the world i would like to specialise in AI or Software engineering but i would choose latter because AI is not popular in today’s market (Malaysia Market). I’m also planning to study in germany for my Master in Data Science because it’s free tuition ( after 3 years of working of course)

So my question is can i take degree in computer science if my math is not so good but seriously i really want to learn this program even tho it will sacrifice my time to have fun in “university life” but i’m afraid that im going fail it just because my math is suck ( like they said - Computer Science is not for everyone) and i see alot of people sayin MMU is quite tough and hard to pass and have to transfer to other university (UNITEN,APU,First City Uc,UniKL etc) but MMU is quite reputable university in the eye of MNC’s company

the reason i can’t take CS degree in IPTA is because of my unrelated Diploma (EE)

i need some motivation

Mara Education Loan 2020/2021

I was wondering how much MARA will give you money to cover your tuition fees in IPTS (per year or per semester) or just cover whole tuition fees from sem 1 to sem 6

How long for you to wait for Mara loan to process, do i have to pay whole semester 1 using Kwsp (epf)? while waiting for mara to pay lump sum of money for sem 1

Is it call MARA loan or MARA TESP now?

Can i apply for both Scholarship and MARA loan?

I’m TVET student btw so i’m only have DVM and would make me pretty hard to apply scholarship. Not an excellent student just “average good student”

My father gaji pokok is RM3500

RM3500+ allowance = RM4500
(gaji kasar)

but listed in M40

am i eligible to apply for mara loan?
I’m Bumiputera btw.

(and other IPTS of course as long as it had reputation in CS/IT/Software Engineering)

The reason why i don’t choose IPTA is because I can’t pursue degree in Computer science or Software Engineering because it’s unrelated to my Diploma which is in Electrical and i don’t have passion in electrical engineering anymore so only IPTS can change mah

I’m doing research of how good computer science and software engineering for 4 months now and feel like i willing to learn this new things

the only thing that scares me are how long they’re going to process Mara loan remember 2016 news :

I heard someone from other forum pinjam wang 500k then bayar balik very sikit based on cgpa. I just need 75000 lol and of course i will study hard and try to get first degree
