[WTR] Small room at PJ Section 19

Small room available from December 2014 located at Section 19 PJ.
Section 19 is smack between SS2 and Section 17, convenient for those working around PJ / KL area.
The house is a double storey terrace - peaceful neighbourhood.

Room is unfurnished with a built in cupboard / cabinet.
House is furnished with washing machine & fridge
We are planning to install wifi
Rental will be RM300 not including utilities

Problem with Dell laptop wireless

Okay so this is not my laptop but my boyfriend's

He usually connects to the internet with his house's wireless modem and router but yesterday he was using DiGi wireless broadband. He had used it previously before and there were no issues.

He was also at a hotel so he did try to connect to the internet by using the hotel's wired internet but as it was pay-to-use he disconnected as soon as he found out.

So today he tried to access to the wireless at his house, he found that his laptop could not detect any wireless connection

He then did a system recovery - which failed to solve his problem

He then reformated his laptop and when he wanted to install the drivers for the network device

After installing halfway - error message :The device may not be present or could have been ejected / unplugged from the system. Aborting the installation. Please insert the card and try the installer again.

He is using Dell Inspiron 1440

Sifus please help as both of us are clueless when it comes to tech Thanks in advance!
