My cousin-in-law got into accident at his workplace that caused 3 of his fingers amputated.

Been trying to look around the net for prosthetic fingers service around Kuala Lumpur but no avail.
Anyone here got recommendation on which center got provide such service?

No replacement leave for public holiday that falls on Saturday so only 3 days break.

Every year got road trip plan, but this year suddenly close friends go jalan2 with partners, leaving me behind.

Where to go around Klang Valley, or maybe slightly further also can.

DBKL summon (car was towed)

Last August my car was towed because I parked at road side (my fault, I know).
It was towed to Kepong, then I payed on the spot so can get back my car.

To my horror, when I want to renew my roadtax today, my request was blocked because myeg says my car is in black list due to this summon unpaid.
I was issued a receipt when I payed at the tow center, but can't find it now

Am I cheated the tow officer that he receive my money but did not proceed to enter in the system?
Or memang have to pay twice, one for release car, one as summon?

Please advise.

Nokia Lumia 720 problem

Recently my L720 keep popping up with "slide down to power off" itself, without pressing any button, randomly.
Searched over the net, it seems there is no firm solution on this yet.

Not sure whether it is software or hardware problem.
Tried soft reset, problem still there.

Anyone here experienced the same thing?

Less than 2 months, energizer kaput already.
The battery that comes with the unit when purchased can last around 1 year, but can't remember the brand.

Is there any battery recommendation so it last at least a year?

Same ER, Higher BR vs Higher SR

Hi sifus,

As BR is very new, it's really hard for me to make a decision which one better. Assume that banks offer same effective rate.

Some bankers says higher BR (hence lower SR) is better cos SR won't fluctuate. Is that true?
However, iMoney seems to recommend the other way round.

Any idea?

Appliance GPS is still the best, especially going to ulu places where there is no 3G coverage, and besides it can tahan the heat from sunlight more compare to mobile phone when put on dashboard. The car mount kit is broken, but you can easily get a mount at MR. DIY or any accessories shop.

Roadtax and Insurance renewal for Motorcycle

Dear all,

Since my new office location is a super jam area, I am thinking of reviving my Honda EX5 for daily commute to office.
It has been 2 years plus since the roadtax expired. Repaired it recently, fully functional now.
But I am facing problem in renewing the insurance and roadtax.
It seems that I need to go for PUSPAKOM inspection before it can be renewed.
Is there any other way to get it renewed without this hassle?
If no other method, how to bring my motorbike to PUSPAKOM office without riding it (since no roadtax)?

WD Passport HDD error in reading

Hi all,

My WD passport has serious problem. When I plugged into my laptop, Windows will try to access it, but not successful.
Seems like it stucked at a bad sector. Sometimes, I can run HDD diagnostic software but most of the time cannot. Those programs will freeze until I have no choice but to unplug the HDD.

HD-Tune shows that the Read-Write having error. Is there anyway to recover the data inside? My HDD still under warranty but I really need the data inside. I've asked professional recovery but 1TB cost at least RM800, which is too pricey for me.

Do you guys think this is hardware failure? Any suggestion to recover the data?
