I am wondering how long did you guys work for your first job (after confirmation) before jumping to another company? I graduated with an engineering degree a few years ago from overseas university (USA, not ivy league) and currently has amassed slightly over 1.5 years of working experience full time in current job. The pay is kinda disappointing from my point of view (between 3K to 3.5K), although I understand my degree not helang level so this is more or less expected, but I still felt underpaid because I have been pushing my performance everyday especially for the first 3 months of probation. Heck, my direct superior said I am one of the top performer in the semi annual review session this year, yet he only increase my salary by merely 7%.

Hence I have the urge to go look for a higher paying job, but I am not sure what is the right time to leave.

Ayam got a degree from the land of the free in engineering, came back after graduation and earn celery like local grad. Currently 3.5k, 10 months in. No increment due to covid

Career dilemma

Ayam foreign grad not long ago (white dominant country), coming home to work. Just got into this job recently. ayam giving 100% on the first 2 months, using all my brain capacity to perform well in my work. Mai boss said appreciate mai effort to conduct job in different way. Mai boss ask if maiself want to go trainning and possible get bonded short term, also give me some high responsibility task to handle despite ayam still new.

but ayam conpius, colleague no give 100%. mengantuk at work all the time.
ayam starting to get tired of giving 100%, so ayam curi work time to type this.

What should I do.......
