maxis hotspot

hi,

i've tried to connect my maxis hotspot with my laptop; while i could surf yahoo/weibo sites with firefox, i can't access facebook with firefox, chrome & explorer.

checked with maxis live chat (twice) but other than making me sound like an stupid idiot the problem's not solved.

anyone can help?

hi,

anyone know why a white screen would suddenly appear?

at first i thought the usb port might be faulty; google chrome unstable but now i still get the white screen but not as frequently as before. today, i was hibernating my laptop and when i flipped open the flap (top of the laptop), the white screen appeared again. when i closed it down for few seconds, the normal windows log-in screen appeared.

is it because of hardware or software problems?

pls help.

hey,

i'm using dell, and using the same DSL-2640T with streamyx connections.

i've just rebooted my windows vista & tried to configure the network connections again. ran the wizards but when i tried to install using the CD, the msg 'socket not ready..." came up. what's the problem?

there's only local connections, but no internet connections. (i could only set up the wireless connections w intel wi-fi) my power, status, adsl, lan/w-lan all blinking and stable.

could any of the masters here guide me the step-by-step configurations again? deeply in need of HELP!!

streamyx account/line is ok coz still using it last week before the reboot.

another thing, the dell drivers & utilities cd, do i need to install everything that's inside the dell resource cd or just selectives? if selectives, which one ya?

1) two laptops in my house now, broadband or normal packages? previously for one pc & one laptop, i was using streamyx 1.0mbps

2) if i'm to use broadband, streamyx or maxis?

watched the new season of house and because i missed the last episode last season, i don't know what happen to chase, cameron and foreman. anyone can enlighten me? (at the first episode, got me there when cuddy said house needed a new team).

and yesterday watched the episode where the irritating nasa woman and all three of them appeared.
