QUOTE(MeToo @ Sep 5 2013, 03:55 PM)

Just wanna rant/share my exp :

I have a Citibank cash back plat (u know, the ugly blue card).

Since their cash back is not terrific, been using less and less, only about 1~1.5k average per month.

So, this time around they refuse to waive the RM195 annual fee (unless I change my card to a regular plat), hence I decided to cancel the card.

Now the problem started, since the Annual Fee is in the current statement, they will charge me 1 months AF regardless even if I pay immediately upon getting the statement. However, they will NOT give me my cash back (around RM60), they will only refund me the Cash Back I accumulated up to today, on NEXT statement. By then, they will charge me ANOTHER month's annual fee.

I just find it abit ridiculous, I cannot cancel my card immediately unless I want to forfeit my accumulated Cash Back, the sales rep I spoke to claim this is their "System" and hence I just have to suck it up.

/end rant.

Your posts and relevant replies will be posted and consolidated in Citibank topic: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2586152

/CLOSED

I'm currently browsing through winter clothing but not sure if the things that I buy here can sustain me in Alberta.

The average temperature over there will be between -10 until -25.

I've checked out Timberland, Uniqlo, Topman, Zara. All are fairly expensive and I'm not sure if it's worth spending that much of money.

Went to Kok Kong today and they claim that their products are able to withstand up to -30 Celcius and asked me to get the following
1. Down jacket
2. Sweater
3. Thermal wear.

These 3 things should be able to sustain me, of course with gloves, boots, etc.

I would like to know anyone of you here have experience buying from this shop before as most of their stuffs are made in China and I'm not sure if the quality is good enough. I just want to ask about how exactly they calculate the interest paid monthly and how they reduce withdrawal limit, from what understand for this kind of home loan (flexi), the more u deposit less interest you'll pay and your monthly payment will go more to reducing the principal rather than serving the interest but what i experienced is inconsistent, sometimes i deposit more but more interest i have to pay for the month and sometimes when i didn't deposit much less interest is paid, very confusing, and i also want to know how much the principal is being paid from my monthly payment,

Your post will be moved to the existing topic: https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=684820

Take some time to go through it as well.

As people are starting to have their eye on it.

To me Silver may seen to be a great way of preserving wealth and fighting off inflation, and it's much more affordable compare to Gold, thou i still enjoy see-ing a quick return from my investments such as Stocks or Forex.

So what do u guys think?

Your post would moved here to the existing topic: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1256221

As I am quite new on the job therefore does not allow me to take off and see AKPK. Please help what shall I do. They would take into calculation your total pay vs your monthly essential spending before coming up with a payment plan for you towards the bank.

Also, spend some time to go through that topic to understand further on AKPK.
Btw, you'll need to owe someone RM30k before they can sue you bankrupt. Your RM50k are from 4 different banks thus you're not being sued for bankruptcy.
