Help needed. Abit NF7-S memory problem

Last week I have bought a Apacer 512MB DDR 400 RAM. Previously i am using 2 DDR 400 Kingston 256MB RAM. The previous 2 is plug to the 1 & 2 slot. Then I plug in the Apacer to 3rd slot but the mobo can't detect. Then I take all out and only plug in Apacer to slot 1 and also no detection. IS that we should only use one brand of ram instead of mixing together with other brand. ANy sifu here have any idea.TQ

Let say my mobo, processor, ram and gpu damage and need to change to a new one. Can I installing the whole specs and then put in the old HDD of the previous system and run the pc without formatting it. Or do i need to reformat.

Currently I have some problem with my HDD. Suddenly it cant log to 98SE system. Then I try format it but show error Insufficient memory. When try FDISK it say error reading drive. Try fdisk/MBR also cant help. Can anyone help me please.

I need help from lowyat forumer. Please guide me. Today suddenly my pc can't logon to window. When i power on, the pc load to window logon screen which have my icon and pc name. When i click the icon, it load inside the window screen then suddenly it jump back to the logon screen with my icon showing the word saving data and logging off. This problem repeated when every time i click the icon. Before that, every time i power on the pc it don't show the window logon screen.
Is it cause by virus. Is there any other way to bypass this. Please help.

Can install HDD and CD Rom into 1 ide?

Can we install HDD and CD rom into the same IDE cable because the mobo only provide 1 ide. The other 2 is SATA but dont have SATA HDD. Currently is using PATA. Can it be configure like master to CD rom and slave to HDD because the cable got length limitation problem.

Is it mobo spoil? Pls Help

I need expert here to guide me through. When I power up my PC the mobo buzzer is very noisy. Its sounding non stop. Then after pass through the BIOS the PC hang when halfway loading with message Disk boot failure. Then I check; no floopy at the drive. HDD is working fine at other PC. Would the mobo be the culprit?? Or the RAM, Processor. Pls help TQ

After some google, I realize that BSOD, nv4_disp.dll, and nvidia chipset gpu all are closely related. I start to figure out that the problem that bugging me all this while with my Winfast Geforce Fx 5200 is related to it. WTA What is the Streamyx "best effort" speed

Just want to know what is the streamyx best effort speed provided by them. I mean if we apply for 1MB we won't get the full 1MB instead we get something like best effort speed define by them. I have been told by the staff before but forgot already whether it is 80% or 90% of the bandwidth speed.
