Telekom Malaysia Berhad ™ wishes to inform its customers that they may be experiencing slow browsing due to the widespread infection of the Conflicker Worm

Conficker, also known as Downup, Downadup and Kido, is a computer worm that surfaced in October 2008 and targets the Microsoft Windows operating system. The worm exploits a previously patched vulnerability in the Server service used by Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7 Beta, and Windows Server 2008 R2 Beta.

The Conficker worm is a computer worm that can infect your computer and spread itself to other computers across a network automatically, without human interaction. It is a standalone malicious program which uses computer or network resources to make complete copies of itself. It may include code or other malware to damage both the system and the network

Conflicker infects other computers across a network by exploiting the vulnerability in the Windows Server service (SVCHOST.EXE). It might spread through file sharing and via removable drives, such as USB drives (also known as thumb drives). The worm adds a file to the removable drive so that when the drive is used, the AutoPlay dialog box will show one additional option. The Conflicker worm can also disable important services on your computer.

To make private proxy or socks

As many internet users do know to bypass the throttle speed from TMNUT, is by using proxies or socks. But, Sometimes using public proxies and socks would be a matter, because it not much safe and many people around the world also using the same proxy.

I write this topic, If you having a Linux server, Don't waste it, I recommended you used it to load for proxy and socks. It more fast and safe compared to those public proxies or socks and here i tell you there's a two ways to make private proxies or even socks. But the minimum requirements, at least you know some Unix commands or based. and the second thing of course you have a good server which hosted outside of Malaysia so that you can get more seeds. Currently i using few Korean, Taiwan, Europe and USA servers. But i prefer more on Asia server because the latency will be less and the loss of bandwidth won't be so great. I used both ways,i hosted Torrentflux and bypass using Proxy or Socks

On the 1st method, you can use PuTTY connect throught SSH protocol while tunnel a SOCKS when you connecting to a linux server and put 127.0.0.1:Port as your SOCKS. It should works prefect if the server open any ports on their firewall.
Here's some example to configure:

Just follow as the setting in the picture.

As you done the setting in the previous picture. You can connect now.

To see the log, Right-click on the top bar and choose for Event Log. You will see a Box like in the picture.
If you saw the details inside the square i drew. Everything looks fine
You can use it to bypass your torrents speed! It should works great.

The 2nd method, If you do have Unix server based, or even Windows server based. You can try to use 3proxy which a .C language. For Windows i think they already compiled into .exe file. You can download it on official website http://3proxy.ru . For Unix, Unzip the file and manually compile it. Everything done. You can run it ^^ It only works when the server do open any ports on their firewall.

U Mobile 3.6Mbps Wireless Broadband

U Mobile already launched their new 3.6Mbps wireless broadband around Klang Valley. Most of the areas were covered!. The plan was quite affordable which cost RM78 per month. The activation fee is just RM50. But there's a disadvantage that the contract period takes 24 Months (Sadness). The USB modem is included in the plan.

What i excited about this U mobile was that. They stated the average speed you will get is around 1.8Mbps or UP! and users can expect to get higher speed depends on the conditions. Even U Mobile have 8 days Money Back Guarantee which if you just wanted to try out the mobile broadband or unsatisfied with the services.

So, What you guys think about this U Mobile Wireless Broadband, Do it really worth that give a shot? Give some opnions or comments about it

Haha, There's a latest thing happened on Streamyx. By the way, as now you surf on http://www.tm.net.my what you see is their new look and design for their website and yet the Streamyx having own domain which is http://www.streamyx.com.my What i wondering, having a flash website with the new look doesn't bring any changes to their services. Most of the Customers ain't happy with their services, and frustrated.

What give me a surpise was that they even having a new package called as Streamyx Combo which is Everything is together and what i saw the 4Mbps is just only RM160 per month @.@
