3k and below budget.

I need a camera phone, i don't need to use other than the camera. No browsing, no gaming, no messaging, just taking photos and videos and browse the pics and the videos taken. This is to replace the bulky camera and dslr. I know the quality won't be same as dslr and camera but i don't mind because i need a more compact camera.

So far under 3k is vivo x60 pro. Got zeiss lens and gimbal

KOTA KINABALU: The large number of Covid-19 deaths in highly vaccinated areas like the Klang Valley and Sarawak are due to a backlog in death reports, says Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin (pic).

However, the number can be expected to go down in the next two or three weeks, he told a press conference after the Sabah state-level Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) meeting here on Monday (Sept 6).

He had been asked why high numbers of deaths are registered in the Klang Valley and Sarawak despite high vaccination rates in these areas.

“There will be more information when I reveal the new data on Wednesday. I have the actual deaths by date. The deaths announced daily did not occur within the last 24 hours. There is a delay as we need to confirm if the deaths are really caused by Covid-19.

“For the Klang Valley, we will hopefully start seeing a reduction in the death rate in the next two or three weeks once we clear the reporting backlog,” he said.

He also pointed out that brought-in-dead (BID) cases are mostly not due to under-monitoring by the Health Ministry or a medical facility.

“I have asked, in Sabah for example, for community leaders and neighbours to be engaged to monitor those who may have symptoms but have not undergone Covid-19 testing.

“Most BID cases are not under our (the ministry’s) care and did not do testing, but suddenly had an onset of severe Covid-19 (and it) may be too late then. In Sabah, there’s also a challenge as some BID cases are non-citizens who were unwilling to come forward to get help,” he added.

Asked about the situation with variants of concern (VOC), he said the majority of VOC cases in Malaysia are from the Delta variant, and genomic surveillance is being carried out to monitor this.

“If we are not mistaken, the Philippines have the Lambda variant, so we are worried since Malaysia and the Philippines’ borders are quite porous. We do not want this variant to reach here, that is why it is important to continue genomic surveillance,” he added.

On whether or not the government will introduce immunisation for adolescents in states where 80% herd immunity of the adult population vaccination has been attained, which has been planned for Sabah and Sarawak, he said it would be recommended when the vaccine supply is sufficient.

Kilang-kilang seharusnya menyumbang kepada percambahan ekonomi dan bukan pusat penyebaran Covid-19. Oleh sebab itu, saya tegaskan agar semua pemilik kilang yang mempunyai pekerja asing menjadikan premis mereka sebagai pusat pemberian vaksin (PPV).

Saya juga telah berjumpa dan berbincang dengan Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian Kesihatan dan Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan supaya pekerja asing tidak lagi perlu beratur dan menyebabkan kesesakan di PPV sebaliknya hanya mendapatkan vaksin di tempat mereka bekerja.

Pendirian kerajaan adalah jelas dan tegas bahawa sesebuah kilang itu hanya dibenarkan untuk beroperasi semula setelah mencapai 80% kadar vaksinasi.

Pemberian vaksin secara pandu lalu juga akan dipertingkatkan dalam masa terdekat supaya rakyat tidak perlu menunggu lama, cukup sekadar 15 minit di dalam kereta dan boleh terus dapatkan dos suntikan.

KUALA LUMPUR: Administering booster doses of the Covid-19 vaccine to those fully vaccinated will not help control the spread of the Delta variant, said Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

"What will help control the Delta variant is vaccinating those who have yet to be vaccinated.

"We must increase vaccination coverage in the country before considering booster shots, no one is safe until everyone is safe," he tweeted last night.

It was reported that the Selangor government is making preparations to provide the booster dose of the Covid-19 vaccine under its Selangor Vaccine Programme (SelVAX).

Its State Public Health, Unity, Women and Family Development Committee chairman Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud said preparations include providing the vaccine for those aged 18 and below, which is subject to approval by the Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee Special Committee.

Covid-19: Fewer patients at HKL emergency dept, says director

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The good news shared by a Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) medical officer on Saturday (Aug 14) that the number of Covid-19 patients at its emergency department has dropped was confirmed by its director Dr. Rohana Johan.

Speaking to the media on Sunday (Aug 15), Dr. Rohana said the downward trend had been going on for the past month and was most noticeable in the past week.

"Alhamdulilah, if we compare the admission of Covid-19 patients over the past month, we can see a decrease in the number of cases admitted at the emergency department.

"If a month ago, there were more than 200 emergency cases waiting for admission to the ward, now there are only around 20 people left,” she said when met at HKL today.

Dr Rohana believed that the cooperation of the people in taking their vaccination and adhering to the standard operating procedures have contributed to this situation.

She said there is also a declining trend in category five cases requiring respiratory assistance, especially among those who had been fully vaccinated.

"Although there are still cases that require respiratory assistance, most of them are among those who do not have vaccination history,” she said.

More reassuring, she said, the current situation is a welcome respite for frontliners, as they are now able to treat patients in a calmer and less tense atmosphere, adding that she is confident this downward trend will continue with the cooperation from the public.

Dr Rohana also thanked all parties involved in the implementation of various initiatives of the Health Ministry, including the Greater Klang Valley Special Task Force and private hospitals that are willing to accept non-Covid patients for treatment.

"Also the collaboration initiative with the Malaysian Armed Forces, Malaysian Civil Defence Force volunteers, either clinical or non-clinical, that helps reduce congestion at the HKL emergency department,” she said.

Meanwhile, a check found that two wards that were previously reserved for treating Covid-19 category three patients are now being used as wards to treat non-Covid-19 patients in the yellow zone since last week.

It is understood that the wards that can accommodate 30 patients at a time were once filled with 70 Covid-19 patients.

The canvas beds used in the wards as well as dozens of oxygen tanks and ventilators are now placed in a corner on standby.

Empty beds were also seen in two isolation wards that house category four and five patients as well as those currently in need of respiratory assistance.

One of the isolation wards that can accommodate up to 12 patients, only treats six patients, at the time of writing.

Earlier, HKL anaesthesiologist Dr Hana Hadzrami, in a Facebook post, shared her relief that referral cases from the emergency department to the intensive care unit for critically ill Covid-19 patients were declining.

"We in the Klang Valley have begun to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Vaguely but full of hope,” she said. - Bernama
