Best VPN For Streaming

I am looking to subscribe to a decent VPN. I have used a couple of free VPNs but they throttle the speed so much that I can’t stream. Nord VPN and Express have been recommended to me but I can’t get their sign up processes to work for me. I keep getting error messages. Can anyone recommend a good, reliable VPN that is good for streaming please?

Apple Carplay cable

I have a 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander with Apple Carplay. Some apps will run fine from Bluetooth but others (inc Google Maps) require a cable connection to show the relevant display. Cable is obviously needed for charging too.

Carplay runs fine on a standard Apple USB to Lighning cable (iphone XS Max running ios 17.4.1) but I can’t seem to find an Apple cable longer than 1m which is causing problems with where to put the iphone. So, can anyone advise if Apple do a longer cable (1.5m is ok) or if any other USB to Lightning cable is recommended? I have tried several cheap options from Mr DIY type of stores and they tend to be fine for a couple of months but then stop talking to the Carplay. I am also concerned that they might be damaging the Lightning input socket on my phone.

Any suggestions?

Thank you.

PC has slowed down after latest Windows update.

I have a very old PC which has worked really well for many years. It had (the very latest) Winows 7 installed when I bought it and I have subsequently upgraded it to Windows 10. It is not possible to upgrade it to Windows 11 according to Microsoft.

After the latest Windows update, everything has slowed down. I thought it might be my internet connection but that is still fine and the slowdown is also apparent when just processing documents etc.

I have done the basics, reboot, cleared cache, ran CC Cleaner etc but all without success.

Can anyone offer another solution to try please?
