Hello, I made a post about furthering studies roughly 4 years ago here.

Now that I've graduated my diploma with a 3.36 CGPA (Early Childhood Education in priv uni) I am trying to narrow down places I want to further my bachelor's studies in.

I read up that you can apply to UKM directly through UKM International as a local, and the mode of teaching through this application will be in English language. I'm wondering if applying directly to UKM would be competitive?

I'm specifically looking to enroll in their Bachelor's in Special Education or Bachelor's in Psychology. I already looked through the entry requirement list for both programmes and I'm eligible (I just need to take MUET, I've already signed up to join the second MUET session)

Ultimately I am very much interested in continuing my masters there as well, in their Masters in Developmental Psychology (I have the means to sambung belajar this far, so finances isn't a concern for me). Just like I mentioned in my prior post, I'm mainly interested in having a career that involves helping children of special needs. I've also thought about switching my major to psychology instead of education because I feel like studying psychology can help me prepare much better in pursuing this type of career, and developmental psychology is a field I am very much interested in studying in the future. But I don't mind which route I go for either way, whether that be through majoring in education or psychology. (+ I'm aware of potentially having to take extra classes for psychology since I started off with a different diploma to fulfill credit hours, and I'm aware that to really make a psych qualification more worth it you have to get a masters at the very least)

Text not appearing in some files/Unable to run cmd

Hello! So I've noticed this issue happening to me when I downloaded something from this website (I was downloading a Microsoft PowerPoint plugin lol) and some of the text from my files seems to have disappeared. I've looked up online for some solutions to this issue but I've concluded that this looks like a very unusual issue (I can't find a very clear cut solution for it anywhere). Even the lines of text in Task Manager seems to have disappeared...

Additionally I've been trying to boot up cmd prompt (Win + X) but the window pops up for a few seconds and disappears, no matter how many times I try to open it. I can open up PowerShell ISE though, but not Command prompt/PowerShell itself.

I doubt the issue... persisted from me downloading a file from a Windows site, so I'm very stumped right now. Also, a LOT of the text would be gone when I try to upload files through a website. Opening my file explorer manually seems to show most of the text (pictured), but not all of them.

To add onto some strange things that has been happening with my laptop, I was playing Jackbox Party Pack with a couple of friends a day ago and the app randomly crashed on me once and didn't give me an error message at all. Not to mention I have to keep booting the app a few times for it to work.

What is going on?

yo guys! I kinda struggle to play some games, eg even with low settings the game kinda stutters a lot for me. When I want to party with someone on discord it takes a while for the game + discord to process my voice to talk. Things load for a very long time before things can be processed. It's really confusing because some of the games I play aren't really that high performing (I mainly play a lot of VNs/RPGs/rhythm games). Even something like videos take a while to load/tend to freeze up. I won't say the degree of the freezing is that bad but it's enough to make me not want to play any games.

P.S. I know 4GB is extremely trashy for gaming, so if worse comes to worse, do I just have to try and invest on a better ram/upgrades for the laptop? Or just invest on a better laptop in the future lol. anyone know some cheap pc part shops around shah alam? I can go further if needed. Maybe even give price quotes for what i need

Need help about my education pathway

So I'm currently doing a diploma in early childhood education, and my end goal specifically is that I want to have a job that more leans to working with children with special needs (child psychologist, special aid teacher, social worker, family therapist, etc etc). I now found out that to work in this specific field, I would've had to enroll in something like diploma in special needs education instead of just a normal diploma in early childhood education. I'm still kinda unfamiliar with how higher education works lol so I was planning to take a bachelor in psychology or something like that to achieve what I want.

my plan tldr: diploma in ece > bachelor in psychology > sambung and focus some social science/mental health course than education

Or do I just continue in this ECE course (get a bachelors degree in ece) and then i look into something different? Is there any other specific courses I should look into after i finish my diploma? takut employers won't accept me if I just switch majors like that
