How to take out the processor fan?

My processor is pentium 4 , 2.4GHz , the metal in my fan very hot , my friend say wht wht thermol paste , make it cooler? how to do it ,can any 1 teach me? Thanks

What condition will cause lag ?

I on my computer in the 1st 20 minutes is still quite smooth, after 20 minutes it will start to lag

I experience the lag when I open 3 or more browser or more than 4 tabs inside a browser and songs together.

I format my computer already , it is probably not cause by software. I installed everything back after I format my computer, my computer : 2.4Ghz Pentium 4 , RAM 512 . This will not lag for surfing the internet and open songs together , right?

Anyone can give some condition which will cause the lag ? I need some guide to fix my computer =.="

Motherboard Problems or Wht? =.=

Err, I am just a student and I need my Computer for my games .

Last time I found my computer is too lag for my game. So I decided to format it .

After I format ,I still found it is lagging for my games .Before this , the game I played was quite smooth.

Some history :

2 month before , My graphic card , Radeon 9550 has broken , so I bought a new 1 , FX-5500 .
After replace the graphic card , it was quite smooth.

2-3 Weeks before , I found my computer too lag for my game , So I format it .After I format it is still lagging for my game. I think some hardware has broken .

I borrowed my friend's hard disk , after I connect it , my computer call me to reboot it =.=". Then I try to format , but half way there , it say don't have any hard disk is connected . =.="?

Then I connect my own Hard disk , and change my friend's RAM , but after I put the RAM inside , I cannot start my computer( cannot go into windows, staying black in monitor ) . So I change back my RAM to start my computer.

2-3 weeks before , I also read some comic through Mozilla Firefox , maybe too many picture in 1 tab , it comes out somethings that say memory not enough ,then my friend call me to adjust the settings in the performance in My Computer there. But it is still lag when I am playing my game.

My friend say maybe is Motherboard problems . I don't know what has spoiled =.="

Need Some Help . Tq ~

Now , first few minutes I on my computer it is still smooth in the game . After the few minutes (almost 15 min) the lag will start . I already adjust the setting in the game to low , lag still occur.
