Hi all, I am a postgraduate student from Institute of Biological Sciences, University of Malaya. Our team is collecting public opinion on genetic engineering and GMO products.
GMO is not just about modified crops with better yield and fortified nutrition. This technology has been applied to more fields than you imagine.

Do you support GMO? Or you wish to know more about the development of genetic engineering in Malaysia.

You may be eating GMO-ingredient foods all this while but not knowing. Or you think that GMO is just about ever-lasting tomatoes and six-winged chickens?
GM crops have been grown all over the world and definitely you can't avoid from it. Malaysia public apparently has very low awareness on this matter.

So, here a chance for your view to be seen regarding GMO in Malaysia via an online survey. You may be surprise to find out your own opinion as well during answering!

This is Chan Chew Chin, PhD candidate from University of Malaya, under Institute of Biological Sciences, would like to collect public opinion towards GMO and its related product especially in Malaysia.

This data will provide a better understandings on factors affecting public perception, and allow policymakers and scientists to reconcile the conflict in between.
