Employment (Amendment) Act disallows overtime

Just read through the amended employment act together with the amendment of first schedule order. From what I understand, does the new act not just disallows employers to ask employees earning more than RM4k to work beyond 45 hours, essentially disallowing OT. This is because Section 60A(1)(iii) does say that "an employee shall not be required under his contract of service to work more than forty-five hours in one week".

Since the amendment to the first order does exclude employees earning more than RM4k from all the OT clauses, does that not mean it's illegal for employees to work more than 45 hours in a week now. Please correct me if I'm wrong but seems like a major flaw in the act.

Low cost housing subsidised by property buyers

For developers during land acquisition, the authorities would set a requirement for developers to build low cost housing. Developers usually will not be able to make a profit off these low cost housings and would price them into their other properties. Hence, in a way, other property buyers are subsidising these low cost housings.

On top of that, there are now projects like Upperville Melawati, Seruang and Huni, etc that has units of low cost housing within the building itself. This would mean that on top of subsidising those low cost units, owners of the regular units would also be sharing common areas and facilities with the low cost units as well. Would you consider this fair?

Water heater for new condo unit

Hi sifus. I recently bought a new condo unit which bathroom came with a bathtub and shower head. However, I just realised that the developer did not provide a water heating unit. As this is my first home, I'm unsure how or what kind of water heating unit I would need to provide hot water to both the shower and the bathtub. Any advice would be appreciated.
