Do you feel /k is a very depressing place?

Every day see ppl open thread about China, India, salary and what not. Imagine being stuck with a broken recorder that repeats the same thing say in day out. Probably the same people or group of people. And they are very good at provoking a response. Guess it's good for traffic.

Of course there are also people who complain about yheir life, their parents their job. You give them advise but not long after that rant about it again. They are probably laughing their ass out

Seriously this place is pretty depressing. Sure there are those with very high EQ as you claim, but imagine stuck with negative people and surely it will affect you one way or the other. Unless you are trained counselor or psychiatrist I don't see how you can walk out unaffected.

Of course there are few gems here, like people sharing their marriage, kids and happy moments. But these are far and apart. Not to mentioned the flooding thread. Good for warning others.

For me, I do log out once a while. Come in to look at current news. I think this time need to really delete everything and log out for good.

There is a saying, tak suka keluar. Maybe that's a good advise after all..

So why are you still here knowing that it will in away affect you wellbeing. Very least time spent here can be put to better use, hobby, reading your work.

Shaver Philips 7000 Series

Hello all.

Usually I just use a normal blae shaver easy and fast and cheap. Couple of months back someone bought me a Philips 7000 series shaver. It came with a liquid cleaning cartrige.

I am new to electric shaver. Apparently need to change ghis liquid every 2 months or so. Went to lazada damn it one cost around rm60. That's like rm1/day.

Hence my question are yhere any alternative or is it a must to use these liquid cleaning?

My shaver blade cost me rm10/pc and last me at least 2-3 months. Damn it...

Went for my medial checkup. They said my hearing is not that great.

Basically have mild hearing lost. So they sort of advise me to just have it check.

Looking for roast lamb leg. Found a site price ok. But what put me off is need to sign in and register.

Hi all. I need to get a birthday cake today. Any recommendation. I have had no luck with cakes. 9/10 that I ordered turn out not that great despite rave reviews from the online community.

It's for my dad who bakes ocassuonally. So naturally he is quite critical. Thinking worse case secret recepie. Nothing special but the taste is more consistent.

Hi guys. Where do you buy your beef?

I know jaya grocer and village grocer are selling Australian and Japanese beef.

These are the prices from Jaya Grocer per kg

M9 Rm649
M6 rip eye rm 356
Angus rib eye rm 250
Angus striploin rm189
Grain fed rib eye rm162
Grain fed steiploin rm136

They also sell Japanese beef. Non ideal cut around rm699/kg and the choice cut around rm1499/kg

I know shoppee also selling but I want to see my beef before buying it.
Just wondering are there other places to buy beef at more affordable price. Tq

How to complain on AIA

Here is what happen. Have a life insurance endowment whwreby they will pay a fix amount every 5 years. Previously it was ok they sent a cheque until this round say will do direct debit. Asked to fill up form. Everytime I email the form it will take them 5 days to reply with more question and request. My first submission was end of Aug until finally went to the branch to submit the form on 30th Sept.

Say 7 working days will release payment. Until now nothing. Call them up earlier say will raise a ticket and will respond in 5 working days.

Hello AIA how long does it need you all to release few k? You have cash flow issue?

Ok this is my predicament. Where can I lodge a complain. I am not able to pass though the operator.

I am absolutely speechless angry and helpless.

Can I reject it? Any later would make the good useless to me. I have offered to collect it at their logistic facility but was rejected.

Hello forummer

How should I start. You know those video that ppl take for days and the they play back in minutes?

I have an installation that I would like to record. It will take about 2 weeks.

Can anyone advise what type of setup required?

* I won't be at the installation site so I can't monitor and retrieve the memory card
* will be there maybe once a week
* don't need HD recording. I guess for me 360p is sufficient.

Anyone can give some advise.
