ddwrt flash dir615

I am following the guide here http://unifi.athena.my/ddwrt_guide.html and was stumped at the beginning where it asked me download the firmware.

1. the stock firmware was ok,http://unifi.athena.my/downloads/DIR615G1_FIRMWARE_705.rar

2. but the ftp link to the ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/others/eko/BrainSlay...ry-webflash.bin was dead.

So I followed the 2011 ftp link to this...ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/others/eko/BrainSlay...ry-webflash.bin

is this correct? I dare not proceed till i am sure.

This is because, I tried to setup my old belkin wireless G router model f5D7230-4 v 7000 to use temporarily till i get the ddwrt firmware flashed correctly so I can attempt to install a walled garden opensource software for my restaurant. I keep PPoE sending PADI but with no reply, with a PADO etc thus I cannot log in. Does anyone know what is wrong and how to overcome it? So I am making 100% sure that the info is correct before I proceed. Hahaha I a bit Kiasu la, what to do when I have no back up option?

What do you all think? Anyone out there with experience in this? I am not a coder but I am a jack of all trades, so it will take me some time to get it up and running. So any help would be much appreciated.
