            <title>Difference between allowance and salary</title>
            <link>http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/5001612</link>
<description>Hi all, a bit of a dumb question but what&amp;#39;s the difference between salary and allowance? What is the purpose of separating the two when you get a job offer? For example, instead of saying RM3000 salary, why say RM2800 salary + RM200 allowance? Does this have to do with salary deduction like EPF, SOCSO etc?</description>
