We met each other in college. <br />He would share his family problems, he would describe how painful and stressful to be with his family.<br />How his family would micro-manage him such as no staying in room alone, if caught playing phone, the phone will be confiscated, must participate in everyday family outings, like if he refuse to go jogging with his mom, his mom would cry infront of his dad, etc. <br />Through out the whole relationship during college time, he would tell me how his mom tell him he shouldnt always go out with me, it would spoilt me. How I would waste his money, use him and stuff, and he cant visit my home because driving is dangerous...but his mom keep asking me to visit his home like wtf..<br />Fast forward, I left college after Diploma and got a job far away from hometown, and he continued to study.<br />we broke up because he acted cold for few months and told me he didnt like me anymore. <br />Months later, he told me the truth &#39;he still love me, those were lies because he think i would look down on him after i started working&#39;. <br /> <!--emo&:sweat:--><img src='http://static.lowyat.net/style_emoticons/default/sweat.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sweat.gif' /><!--endemo--> and yea..we got back together. He came to study nearby my work, after sometime i moved in with him.<br />Theres one issue while we were staying together, which is we adopt a kitten secretly, hiding from his family because we know how they would react. But at the end he confessed to them anyway <!--emo&:shock:--><img src='http://static.lowyat.net/style_emoticons/default/shocking.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='shocking.gif' /><!--endemo--> because he said he dont feel good lying to them.<br />FAST FAST forward. MCO hit in, education has been held online, he stayed at his hometown, and his family want to cancel the rental because he wont be staying as that time rumours going on that all university will start on 2021. Btw we split rentals, they insist to cancel it while i am still living in there?? He said he couldnt do anything as his parents are paying for half of the rental.<br />And thats when I put a stop at this relationship, despite how he always convince me that he would be free from the hell after he graduated and start working.<br />I couldnt wait or stand his family any longer, and i really couldnt trust that he would really free. He did ask me if i could wait for him and get back together after he started working, i didnt respond and we rarely text now.<br /><br />Anyone have relationship experience with a restricted guy?
