Shotgun Mic for Camcorder

Hi everyone. I hope I posted this in the right section, if not please redirect me.

I'm going to Lowyat/Sg Wang Plaza area today to get a Canon HV30. But, I am also planning to get a shotgun camera-mounted mic, particularly the Rode VideoMic. I've been searching all over the net and can't seem to find a place that sells it, besides Sonica at Seksyen 13. Does anyone here own the Rode, and can you tell me where to buy?

Hi Guys. Need your experience. Couldn't find an answer so decided to start a topic.

I am planning on getting an Apple Cinema Display 20" to accompany my MacBook Pro. I'll be using it for CS3 and Final Cut Studio, mainly.
All I want to ask is that - do you have any problems with it? Reports say they come with few dead pixels, but how many of you actually get those? Do you think it's worth the cash?
