Future for Oil & Gas company

During this pandemic (covid-19), we all know that every oil & gas company are having a bad time. So, what is your opinion about this ? Did O&G company will remove some employees or reduce their salaries ? And what will happen in the next 5 years ? Is it O&G will become stable for the next 5 years and will hire more employees as they not have enough people to operate like before (5 years ago) ?
