Best arrangement for new tyre

Hey guys

Wanna get some opinion regarding best arrangement of new tyre.

So one of the tyre of my ativa punctured. Have to change to a new tyre. For ativa, their spare tyre and rim is the same size unlike the typical black spare tyre.

One advice i received previously is that its best to change both tyre if you wanna change tyres because of the balancing and all that.

If that is not an option due to my limited budget, is it better to:

(Excluding the two front tyres, we have old tyre, spare tyre, new tyre)

A. Use old tyre and spare tyre and keep new tyre as new spare.

B. Use spare tyre and new tyre and keep old tyre as spare.

Milleage is approximately 1100km.

Thanks in advance

Scooter Vs Kapchai Fuel Consumption

Hello bikers

Would like to get some feedback especially from those who have both scooter and kapchai.

Is the fuel consumption really that different?

Example, comparing to the same class

4l on honda dash 125
4l on vario 125

Will the distance covered by the 4l be really huge like 50km? or just a difference of 10 - 15km?

Thanks for sharing.

Suspension Brand Recommendations

Hello sifus

Sent my car for balancing and alignment. The guy said my back suspension leaking oil leaking already. Wanna change to something thats durable for at least 5 years? Any recommendation?

Budget - not sure about what is the typical range. Shop quote me 350 (for both side) for the one that they have in their shop. Personally, i dont mind spending 500 - 600 (for both side) if its durable.

Thanks.

Down shifting clutchless motor

Hello sifus.

I tried google but cant get a clear understanding.

I previously use my friend ex5 so didnt care about this but since i have my own bike wanna make sure i take the best care i can.

Up shifting gear i understand. Throttle to neutral -> up shift -> rev throttle

But i dont understand shifting the gear down. I use this video as reference point.

https://youtu.be/mIaD8JvdE6M

So my understanding is that, before you down shift gear, you rev throttle abit then only down shift. Is that correct?

Do i rev and hold while i down shift or rev and release and down shift?

Thanks for any advice.
