IEM’s Stuck at Customs

I ordered a pair of CrinEar Daybreak’s off Linsoul’s AliExpress store on 22/11/2025 and today (2/12/2025) I received a message from POS Mlaysia saying that it is held at the customs.

The price I paid is 470+ which to my knoedge doesn’t exceed the RM500 ceiling to get taxed. But the items original price is around RM570+ on AliExpress.

POS Malaysia informed me to go customs office with invoice and bank statement to clear the item. Is there anything else or any payment I have to prepare before I go?

Shopee Return Process

I bought a Redmi G Pro 27Q Monitor from shopee and it came with a EXTREMELY noticable red tint to it which was unfixable because all the settings were locked.

I gave plenty of wvidence to Shopee and they approved the return and I dropped of the item at my nearest post laju on 16th August.

On 18th August the seller disputed saying:
“Upon checking

-Customer have to press on off button then can control brightness from there.
-After checking, monitor can be apply with 4K video with better colour
-Monitor also in good condition & has opened box”

Problem is, I didn’t have any issue with the brightness, and the monitor is rated for 1440p.

Fast forward to 22nd August, they dropped the item back to my address???? with the reason of “Item was in unsealed condition”. How was I supposed to identify the defect with the item sealed in the box?

I escalated the issue to Shopee in which an agent said they would arrange a pickup from my address.

Then i received another message on 23rd August saying my return was rejected due to lack of evidence. Don’t know what evidence they were talking about because they didn’t clarify.

On the same day I contacted another agent and they said they would escalate the issue and I should wait for an update which I have yet to receive.

Any other way I could handle this issue?
