We got into an agreement with the in-law to renovate a house and my party has settled all payment.

But now, the work is yet to be completed coz the contractor said he didn't receive full payment from the in-law. And the work that have been done is unsatisfactory.

This has been going on for months.

Is a police report gonna move him to settle his obligation or do we need to lawyer up?

I wanna reinstall OS but each time I encounter an i/o error

i think my hdd connection from the laptop is the culprit coz I can connect the hdd as external drive to another pc

can the power/sata connection be repaired and is it expensive?

Looking at room here but it seems a bit crowded and a school or two just along the road...

The road seem wide enough. According to google map, its gonna take a good half hour to and from work...

my current situation
i never knew my landlord coz ive been paying my rent to another tenant n tht tenant will gave the money to a neighbour which i assume will give the money to the landlord...been more than 3 years n nvr ever saw d landlord...all tht time all his letters from various bank n pos laju have been delivered ere...again gave to neighbour hoping it will reach him

today,i got back from holiday n saw a summon from lawyer's office citing(didnt read d whole lot,juz d numbers) landlord failed to pay a certain amount of installment to a local bank thus d bank is demandind full settlement plus cost.
d questions:

1)is tis d time to look for a new flat to rent?

2)is there a possibility tht i can purchase d flat,nego with bank?

3)or nego with landlord to settle his debt n make d flat my own?

sori for dumb questions but 4 me,dumb questions is questions not asked n sori again if wrong place,hope mod can place it at the rite tered.

cant uninstall asus prog on win7

juz sold my asus gc n i wanted to uninstall all asus prog...unfortunately,cant uninstall...still there on the prog list n asus splendid is also there when i right click on my desktop...altho greyed out

all when avg scan for viruses n stuf...got a damaged dll file on wowsys64 i think,cant remember

using win7 home premium 64 bit...

how to clean registry...or fix it...using system mechanic...prob persist
