In a repugnant attempt to rationalise rape, Shravan claims that legalising “Rapes without violence” is the only way to control the brutal killings of rape victims as the government/judicial decree will dissuade the rapists from murdering the victims. “Murder is a sin and a crime. Rape is a corrective punishment. No justice is going to happen with Nirbhaya Act or Priyanka Act. The agenda of rape is fulfilling the sexual needs of rapists based on that time or mood,” Shravan said in a Facebook post.

He adds that the agenda of rapist is fulfiling sexual needs of the rapists, based on time and mood. And if the society, court and women organisations ignore this crime, they will not be cruel by going to the next level of murdering their victims.

Furthermore, when one of the Facebook users commented on Shravan’s odious post, asking him to consult a psychiatrist for his dangerous mental condition, Shravan brazened it out saying “If these adamant bitches didn’t consent to the proposal made by the rapists, they will have no other way but to rape them”. Shravan also responded in affirmative when the Facebook user asked him if he will have the same advice for women in his family.

Later he deleted all his posts on Facebook, and posted a new message apologising for his comments. He gave an excuse for his comments, saying that he is writing those as dialogues of a villain character in a movie he is going to direct, and it was misunderstood by audience. He said that the statements are not his opinions, and apologised for hurting sentiments.

Recently, the brutal gang-rape and murder of the 27-year-old veterinary doctor Preeti Reddy(name changed) in Hyderabad galvanised the country into seeking a sustainable and long-lasting solution to deal with the rising menace of sexual assault in the country. With solutions ranging from social reengineering to legislating stricter laws are being deliberated, some twisted minds such as Daniel Shravan are of the opinion that rapists should be given a free pass and legislations criminalising rapes should be dropped.

How to address slow progress for some muscles?

Hi. Im currently training at home with dumbbells.
My problem right now is my side lateral raise and tricep extension is really weak.

Im progressing with heavier load for all other stuff, but those two Im stuck with way lighter weight.
Got progress but really slow.

Is this normal?
Im trying to solve this by "cheat forms" using heavy weight + control the eccentric movement,
and put more reps and extra set to the light weight.

Is this gonna be good enough?

Confronting someone about sexual battery

So, Im confronting someone on sexual battery tomorrow.
Im pretty sure Im doing the right thing, but people want to sweep this under the rug.
Let me know what you think about the situation. Thanks.

1. Offender is holding a high position in club in uni
2. He did something before too, but smaller. The victim doesnt feel safe around him anymore
3. Has a reputation among girls. Some doesn't feel comfortable around him. (safe but not comfortable)
4. He told me it was consensual. And the victim "liked it". This is what made me dismiss it in the first place
5. I found out it was not consensual, and the victim was also shocked that he told me she liked it.

Want I am demanding is:
1. For him to step down from his position (so he doesnt abuse his power)
2. For him to properly apologize
3. To assess any mental health damage to the victim
4. For him to commit to counselling for his behavior

So far, he and other people are against me. Saying that:
1. It's between him and the victim
2. She already forgave him
3. What I am seeking is not reasonable and not respecting victim's wish that she doesn't want to expose him
(I think I am still well within the realm of doing something while still respecting victim's wish)

My own stance on this is I would've let this slide if:
1. It was not his first time with this offense
2. It was not an escalating offense
3. He didnt lie to me about what happened

Am I wrong for my demands to keep people safe?
Forgiveness doesn't absolve people of guilt, right? If you broke a vase, and the owner forgave you.
You still have committed an act of breaking the vase.

In this case, he broke the trusts of women.

Im feeling so alone in this. People are saying ridiculous stuff like "You know, even if he agrees to go to counselling. Counselling isnt that effective, right?"
Just a whole lot of apologist attitude makes me sick.

So this was last year.
Went to keretapi sarong event, took a picture and posted it.

One of my friends asked about girl in the picture. I thought he asked about my friend.
But apparently he asked about any of the malay girls.

I was kinda shocked cos hes pretty good looking.

Just for fun, as per title, what would your archetypes be as a lover?

At best, I am a:
Guardian angel
-I look out for other people, and watch over them. Not a white knight, cos Im too brutally honest for that. If I think it's for their own good, I will do it despite their wishes. I'll do "behind the scenes stuffs" to protect people that I care about.

At worst, I am a:
Naggy mother
- Lame archetype, but I'm trying to be honest here. Cos sometimes I can be overprotective and it will annoy people. A lot of ppl had called me 'mother', even tho Im a guy.
Already made peace with my androgyny for some time.

I think I am suitable for:
The Hermit
- People who are independent, but their independence made them unaware of their vulnerabilities. That's where I come in.

Hi guys.

Ive found myself spending a lot of my time here lately, so I thought about opening up a thread.
Attraction is very subjective, but I would like to survey what comes next after physical appearance.

For me, Im kind of a daredevil who likes to try everything,
so Im really attracted to people who have similar level enthusiasm towards explorations.

Somehow, I think that if the person is very adventurous,
that would offset my minimum requirement for looks department.

"She's ugly, but I'd totally date her" kind of thoughts.
Have you ever felt that way?
Do you think that other qualities could offset your needs for physical attraction?

IMHO, it might have something to do with perception of scarcity of shared similarities.
For example:
If you think that not a lot of girls play DOTA (and you love DOTA), if you found a girl who plays the game, then you would feel more attracted to her.

Do you agree with this sentiment?

bonus question: Ive recently started to wear glasses. Does it make a person less attractive or more attractive? (feeling kinda insecure about it lol)
