hi guys,

if ur gf/wife is earning more than you do, how would u feel? will u feel inferior? how would she feel? will she mind that ur earning power is not as high as hers?

will there be any difference if:
1) u r earning 3k and she is earning 5k?
2) u r earning 20k but she is earning 100k?

My gf is currently earning more than me. i am from the semicon industry while she is in auditing. the annual increment is very much different between these industries. i get <10% increment (this yr no increment! ) while she gets increment in the figure of few hundreds per year.

i won't say i mind she earning more than me but sometimes i do kinda ponder how i can ever match her pay in the future. she on the other hand would like me to earn higher than she does (all girls would want their bf/husband to earn higher than they do don't u think so?). i won't say i am an excellent employee, but i am above average, but having said that, due to the recession, semicon factories are not giving any increments this year. she on the other hand will be promoted to senior level this year and i heard the increment she is going to get is in the range of 500-800.

any guys out there in the same situation as i am? how would u feel? more importantly, how does ur gf/wife feel?
Six Sigma

Hi all,

Been reading jobs ads both online & in newspapers. Some of the positions require the candidate to be a certified Six Sigma Black Belt holder. I know there is yellow, green, black & master black belt to the Six Sigma hierarchy, but how to know if it is suitable for someone? What kinda industry would this course benefit the most? Where to enroll for a course like this? How much would it cost? How long is the duration?

Sharing of experience from any Six Sigma holders out there is highly appreciated...
