Hi all, just wanted to share an experience on shingles, never thought I'll get it at 28 year old.

Some background on shingles :

Shingles is the reactivation of a viral infection in the nerves to the skin that causes pain, burning, or a tingling sensation, along with an itch and blisters in the skin supplied by the affected nerve. It is caused by the varicella zoster virus[1], or VZV—the same virus that causes chickenpox.
So basically you'll get it, if your immune system is down and you had chicken pox before, the virus will come out again as shingles.

Happened on one day and I've been feeling this sudden headache/migraine at random times ( previously seldom have headache/migraine)

It has been going on from Wednesday to Sunday and all I thought is maybe not enough sleep, so got headache/migraine .so I just keep resting and didn't really go to a doctor.

Until on Monday, i realised there's a rash and bump growing from my forehead towards my eyes. Meet the dr and realised it's shingles. It starts to grew on my scalp so I didn't notice it earlier. No wonder keep having so called migraine, it's like having a small thunder shock to your nerve at random times, keep happening randomly.

Anyway, just want to update that the Dr prescribed me with medicines and most of the rashes have been drying up, and I'll be recovering soon.
