Which laptop to choose and some suggestion pls

I am a student and currently studying in uni. I need a laptop for normal usage such as online classes, teaching in the future, surfing the Internet, watch movies, prepare teaching materials and some simple editing.

I have a few choices in my mind which are:
1. Dell New Inspiron 14 Laptop

- AMD Radeon™ Graphics with shared graphics memory

Searching for Laptop and hoping for suggestion

Currently a student and using HP Notebook 14-ac115tx. I wanted to change a new laptop.

Requirement: light, for long-term usage, need it to edit video, for teaching purposes, it is better to have a widescreen and the price range is better to be within RM 2500.

Any brand is acceptable, as long as it functions well in the long term and affordable.

A laptop or a phone?

Hi i am a student who is going to university soon but i am unfamiliar with all these technology . Before suggesting any suitable electronic devices, i wanted to know that which electronic device should i buy. Currently i am using a Samsung J7 prime and a HP Notebook 14-ac115tx. My laptop is actually in a good condition but the battery no longer last long so if i want to continue using it i have to buy a new battery (However, my concern is i might need a long lasting battery life when i go in to uni cause i am not sure how long my laptop battery life can last even if i change a new battery). For my phone it is still usable just it is always lack and i don't have enough storage and memory to use anymore. I am considering which should i buy, a laptop or a phone? If your suggestion is a laptop can you suggest which type of laptop is suitable for me?

Basic requirements for laptop:
- i don't want any 2 in 1 laptop
- for normal use (like what students in uni normally use) but won't be lag when i am editing video
- with thunderbolt or without also acceptable
- i need a huge storage (without SSD is acceptable, HDD will be enough)
- have a big screen
- price best below RM3000
- light
- long lasting battery life
- hope to use it for a long term
